To me, Charlie has the best kill in the movie. His little speech to Kirby, and then kills her. It was like revenge for all the nerds who had that crush and she finally acts upon it.

Like its been said...that's just something you don't do!!! :cmad: :csad:

^^ Hmmm, that is interesting. If Scream 5 still is a possiblity, I hope it doesn't turn into a cash cow.

Now that Sidney has no family left
I guess if there is a Part 5 it will take place any number of years later so that Sydney can meet & build a new circle of trust with some new friends. I doubt any killers would spend an entire two hours just going after the three survivors & no one else. I guess they could also start going after Gales & Deweys families

I really enjoyed Scream 4, but like others, have some doubt about another sequel. I'd be all for it, just don't know where else they could go. It would have to be a pretty creative story.

I really don't know what is left . I know KW said he had 3 films mapped out but this felt like the end . The Remake vs orginals was a nice way to come back full circle

I dont know ethier, they have pretty much done all they can do, another sequel just feels tacked on for fan sake.

about the ending though:

Did Jill think the police wouldnt ask and get suspicious about why she shot the boyfriend in the dick?

about the ghostface killer in general:

Why did the costume killer seem like a foot taller then everyone else but jill and charlie seemed shorter then sid?

^^ With Wes and Kevin on board, I highly doubt Scream 5 would feel tacked on. What matters now is if it is actually happening.

Sheriff was the village idiot Dewy . Enough Said. Rory and Emma are both on the short side . You just have to accept it for what it is . I have suspended my disbelief for far worse , and for the most part the size of Ghost face I couldn't tell

And again why does anyone who liked Scream 4 really want another film . It came full circle .

Legally Kirby isn't family of Jill's so he can't disclose her condition, but with Sid he can disclose her condition because Sid is Jill's family?

I really doubt Dewey was thinking of legal issues when talking to a teenage girl who was just attacked, and lost her mum and all her friends in one go. If Kirby lived, I think he would have told her. Nobody is going to prosecute for that lol.

I'd be surprised if they did return, considering this film isn't exactly what either of them signed up for. I'm still waiting for the full script (or at least summary) of what the original plan for this film and its sequels were.

Both have said they are game for more, so if it does happen, prepare to be surprised. Also Wes hasn't bad mouthed this film once, yet you just made it sound like has. I love when fans do that. Lulz.

Don't assume. This is what I was referring to:
Wes Craven has admitted that Scream 4 does not feel like ‘his’ film.

The director of the franchise told followers on Twitter that he is losing control over the project because of changes in the writing team.

Scream 3 writer Ehren Kruger has been drafted in to reboot Kevin Williamson’s script.

Speaking to Total Film, the horror legend said: “There was a bumpy period when things shifted over from Kevin to Ehren.

“I signed up to do a script by Kevin and unfortunately that didn’t go all the way through the shooting.”

He added that it is “not entirely” his film but his job is “much more bringing whatever experience and expertise and creativity I can”.

That was taken out of context from a longer interview he did LONG ago. But nice try though.

Touche, yeah I had to suspend disbelief in a wonderful movie called congo and my disbelief hasnt been the same since.

I agree on the full circle part. If a scream 5 ever came, it would feel like the beginning of halloween ressurection for me where you see laurie in the mental institution and michael still coming after her and it would feel so forced and tiresome. How many times will audiences pay to see this poor girl chased by the same killer costume with a different character underneath over and over and over only to barely get away. you would think by now the killer would just walk up to her and kill her first instead of building to it.

Im sorry but Scream 4 felt the closest in tone and structure to the original than any of the sequels. Were there some changes ? Sure but this is a KW film clearly

Ehren should just quit Hollywood. He is a studio yes man

That was taken out of context from a longer interview he did LONG ago. But nice try though.
Heh. I noted Scream 4 wasn't exactly what Craven and Williamson had imagined when they signed up, due to intervention during production. That's precisely what Wes just stated, regardless of when the interview was. Did he lie or take it back, since then? That's the only way I could see how time matters there.

If you can quit being so defensive and have something to contribute, then feel free to do so. I've no qualms being corrected. As it stands I don't really know what other context could be provided as there was nothing vague about his words.

Haha. It's amazing the projects that the man has worked on yet, he's probably one of the least respected writers in Hollywood by fans.

This is what I imagine his interviews are when he goes for jobs

Interviewer - So how would you write this movie
Ehren - I do not have any ideas. I will write what you guys & what your bosses tell me to write
Interviewer - Your hired
Ehren - I will even do it for a dollar
Interviewer - We will give you two dollars

Why don't you look up the longer interview where that qoute was snipped from? Because then the whole thing sounds COMPLETELY different. Stop using factually incorrect and maybe I won't have to be ''defensive" (lord jesus, another pet peeve of mine with fans.).

http://www.totalfilm.com/news/wes-craven-talks-scream-4-s-script-controversy Read the follow up qoutes ''It's still Kevin's script.'' ''It's ultimately controlled by what the studio wants" (that's any movie not just this one.), ''But my job is bring my creativity, expertise, and experience"

Later on we found out he did some touch ups on the script himself. So yes it was Kevin Williamson's ideas, themes, concepts, Krueger touched up on it, as did Wes himself. Wes never ''disowned" this film.
