Hyperbole much? His "robotic" stalking of his victims added an air of menace to the character.

No way. It tried to copy the way Nick Castle moved in the original and it looked ridiculous.

I'll tell you this; Michael's menacingly inhuman walk in HII trumps a big dirty hobo Myers with a hill billy beard sticking out under his mask any day :cwink:

A mask he barely even wore in the movie anyways. Half of the movie he walks around with his face showing to the entire world.

Not to mention the whole of Rob Zombie's H2 is stupid when you stop and think the man lived in the wilderness with a bullet wound that grazed passed his skull and head, he would've died from the blood loss in the woods. This is suppose to a realistic human Michael Myers right? Not a force of unstoppable evil like the original, right? Then how'd he survive that? It's the movie's biggest plothole and it destroys the whole thing.

And as much as I loved Annie in Rob's H2 (she and Brackett being the only good things about it), her and Loomis should've been dead after what they recieved in the first Zombie Halloween.

On the topic of Scream 4, I hope we get a boat load of special features.

She was alive when we last saw her in Halloween (2007). Loomis appeared dead, but Annie was still kicking. She didn't need to appear dead, because she was not.

This thread needs more Kirby! :yay:

Hell, the same thing could be said for Kirby then. Annie was covered in WAY more stab wounds and bloody and had way more excuse to die from her wounds.

But somehow I doubt if Scream 5 were greenlit, Hayden Panettiere would be back.

^^
Well, Kirby coud still be alive, though I doubt it.
As for Annie, well, she was moving when the police arrived, so I thought it was okay to assume she was alive.

The last time we see Kirby. She's got a pool of blood under her, but as Charlie walks away she's still heard moving on the ground and groaning.

Well fans want to see Kirby back. She is the first character (not counting Jill or Mrs. Loomis) that stacks up to the original cast, IMO--but I think she's dead to sell the "screw remakes" vibe of Scream 4.

But here's the difference....we last see Kirby lying on the ground rolling in agony from two knife wounds and then....she isn't in the rest of the movie. Jill even mentions to Dewy she thinks Kirby is dead and Dewy doesn't correct her like he does Sidney (though he doesn't confirm it, so if KW and Craven want her back they can have it). However, with Annie we see her still alive after several stab wounds (it's unclear how many or how deep they are as they occurred off-screen) lying on the ground. She has enough energy to tell Laurie to run in a fantastic sequence. Her father then comes to the house and finds her still alive and crying....so we see the police (thus presumably nearby medical attention) find her.

If Dewy found Kirby still alive on the ground in Scream 4, I would expect her to be in the next one. Right now it's up in the air, but I'm veering on she will likely not return. I'm actually feeling like Scream 4 is going to be the last one in any case.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the theatrical version of Rob's Halloween doesn't have Brackett finding his daughter? I thought that was added for the DVD. I thought the last time we saw Annie was when she was telling Laurie to run.

I can't remember. I've only watched each once and that was years ago. I do remember him finding Annie and thinking "Yes, Danielle Harris survives again! She cannot be killed Uncle Mikey!!!"

....Then I saw H2. :( Oh well, only Pleasance and Jamie Lee Curtis has survived more films with this guy than she has. The winning streak had to end eventually, I guess.

I think they deliberately left Kirby's fate unknown so if they wanted to bring her back they could. Yeah, she was losing a lot if blood, but unlike the other kills there is no confirmation of her being dead and we don't see her body again. Syd has been through worse stuff than Kirby so I'm holding out hope. I just hopesge doesn't come back as a killer. For one it would kill her character, at least for me it would. Second, Hayden Pannettiere is 5' 4" tall and it would be pretty obvious who ghostface is not to mention anyone could overpower her.

I didn't even notice the height thing.

Although when the second Ghostface ran up to Sydney before the reveal, I kind of figured out who I was... but it didn't stop me from not believing it.

I guess being a robot in HII ('81), being a cult controlled cousin raping killer in part 6, having a CG mask in H20, and fighting Busta Rhymes in HR didn't.

You know Busta Rhymes kicking Myers out the window was awesome. You know it.

My God, the whole concept is amazing. Say it out loud to yourself right now. You will laugh.

Same here.

How are the special features on the Blu Rays?

And does anyone know when the "Still Screaming" documentary will be released? I watched the Biography special on Scream which was pretty cool. Randy Jackson sounds more creepy in person. Jesus Christ.

I love how they just had Roger Jackson sit there in darkness and say Ghostface like lines the entire damn Biography.

You think back to how Ghostie was taller than Olivia or Rebecca though, about the same height as Sidney and Gale and how much shorter Jill and Charlie were to them in their non-killing scenes. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense. I also am shocked that Charlie could be so vicious towards Olivia when that doesn't seem his personality type at all.

You just have to ignore these types of things I suspect.

Heels and Boots . I really didn't notice the height thing , considering Emma was about Five 7 with those 5 inch heels on , and Rory is Five Six or Seven not a giant but not Danny Devito size

Both of the killers really seem to be docile kittens in their personalities, but then Jill just goes ****ing insane and you're like whoa. As for Charlie. I just think Jill seduced him and tricked him really good.

Clearly Jill was the mastermind .Jill used him no question , We can debate whether she slept with him or not, but the promise was there . I am assuming she took his life and virginity
