Clearly Jill was the mastermind .Jill used him no question , We can debate whether she slept with him or not, but the promise was there . I am assuming she took his life and virginity
That's what I'm thinking. Jill was great at being the killer, if you ask me. One of the best so far. She's pretty cute, too, lol.

^^ Hmm, not sure. She seems quite a bit older from the rest of the cast while Emma was right around their age. I still think Emma was the best choice, but who knows.

I loved emma. Looking forward to her future work :D

Emma was hot. She looks even better with the black hair.

Emma was hottest girl in the movie IMO. Great eye candy. Yeah, she was crazy, but can't be perfect ;)

I love how they just had Roger Jackson sit there in darkness and say Ghostface like lines the entire damn Biography.

That was creepy. And I'm glad we don't see his face. It's much scarier with no face to place the voice with.

Both of the killers really seem to be docile kittens in their personalities, but then Jill just goes ****ing insane and you're like whoa. As for Charlie. I just think Jill seduced him and tricked him really good.

So I guess we can openly talk about spoilers now?

Yeah, Charlie was definitely the Stu while he was trying to be the next Randy. He was obviously weak willed and seemed to do it out of sex. When he killed Kirby and ran away he seemed shaken as hell. Almost like he didn't want to. Hell, actually, Stu had more heart than Charlie did. I like the ambiguity of Stu joining Billy. The peer pressure line is just enough.

Which reminds me, I loved the idea of Jill and Charlie as these twisted lovers as the killers. When they kissed that was ****ed up. I never thought of those two as a duo for the killers. Charlie did seem to do it, because like he said, Kirby didn't pay attention to him all these years and he was pissed she was finally making a movie and when Trevor interupted, that was the final straw (which I didn't seem to think about when he stormed off at all; it didn't make me think killer. I was so caught up when he was banging on the window and when Kirby had to save his life) and Jill probably got to him earlier. She manipulated him. He wanted the attention and fame, maybe the get the attention of Kirby. But Jill got him in the places he always wanted from Kirby and boom, you got your partner. Jill is pretty damn smart.

And when she stabs Charlie I now realize how symbolic it was for her to stab him in his heart.

It's such a genius thing by Williamson. You like all these characters. Then when they die or are revealed to be the killers what we love about their personalities can be used as a motive or just make us sad to see them go.

Billy went either way with his pop culture references to Sydney and played it sweet. Skeet gave a terrific performance. You can still by him as innocent and as the killer.
Mickey with his stuff with Randy and debating sequels in the film class. Could at first be used as something funny and interesting then you realize, this man's using this for his killings.

They played that well showing he did have strong feeling for her at one point but Jill took advantage of his obsession and played him. That was one of my favorite reveals.

Must have been the adrenaline and the fact he actually did it. I mean the other deaths didn't seem to faze him, but with Kirby that did.

Did anyone else find it incredibly annoying how non-chalant the aunt seemed to take the whole situation?

Particulary the scene when she returns home:

"Oh yeah hey Sidney, there's a killer out there trying to murder my daughter, never mind the fact that the neighborhood girl was mutilated last night, or the fact that the two cops that are supposed to be guarding my house aren't outside, I have two more bags of groceries in my car...I'LL GO GET THEM!!"

Speaking of Jill and Charlie, I saw the movie again tonight and had some thoughts on them.

I do think she had seduced him because he was a movie geek who I suppose seemed a bit more unhinged than Robbie. Plus, Robbie was gay so he may not have responded to her advancements. After seducing him she pushed him to move on Kirby and Kirby towards him to set up the kills. While Charlie did a few more of the kills (I suspect) than Jill, she masterminded it. But since he lost his virginity to her, he didn't really foresee himself as patsi.

One thing though was when they said they're "the new Sidney and Randy." Then paused and had Charlie say, "Except this time, Randy gets the girl" before they kissed.

I couldn't help but wonder what Sidney thought about that remark. Maybe it's because I just saw Scream 2 last week and Randy is one of my favorite characters, but it seems even the Stab films picked up on that. I wondered if Sidney regretted not getting together with Randy at some point because he was the only one she really had time to properly mourn in film (though I'm sure Tatum and Derek would have gotten some of that if she wasn't fighting for her life when they died). It just made me sad for Sidney for some reason.

Anyway, still holds up as a great ride. Not quite as good when you know who the killers are because the suspense of "what happens next" fades a little. But trying to figure out who killed who and who is on the phone when is fun. I think I figured it all out except for who killed Rebecca (probably Charlie, but it could have been Jill) and who killed Kate because there was one at each door. Still a great movie experience.

I always suspected that Stu was in love with Billy. I'm not sure if Billy was gay or not, but the way Stu idolized Billy and tried to act just like him. Then when they're revealing their "motive" to Sidney, he is leaning his head over Billy's shoulder and in his personal space really, really close. Kind of like they're lovers...at least in Stu's head. I heard one theory the reason they killed Tatum (besides increasing the blood bath) is that they were both getting rid of their "beards" that night. They even made fun of this in the first Scary Movie. Kind of like the killers in Alfred Hitchcock's Rope (where I think it was mutual) or Ben Foster's character in 3:10 to Yuma (where it was not). An ambiguously gay pair of natural born killers? I can buy that. Especially since Kevin Williamson is himself a gay man, I could see him sneaking that in there.

Billy went either way with his pop culture references to Sydney and played it sweet. Skeet gave a terrific performance. You can still by him as innocent and as the killer.

Another interesting thing about that scene (besides Mickey making the mistake of saying that Aliens is better than Alien, Randy and CiCi for the Ridley Scott win!) is who are making these arguments. It's the killer and the potential victim. The potential victim who survived the first film, but is funny and smart enough to be the most likely survivor to die in the sequel, is absolutely opposed to sequels....because if he lived in one to the first Stab, he would likely die. And the guy who is going to make the sequel by killing a bunch of people loves the ideas of sequel. The argument is because one knows that the sequel means he's going to die and the other knows he's in the process of making his own sequel....which while wasn't as good was still a fun show.

That scene is very clever.

I was kind of let down we didn't get Lauren Graham. That scene was kind of odd . It felt like they were trying to make her suspicious at first.

I'm just wondering what exactly Gale meant when she said she solved these things the last three times. She never guessed or figured out who the killers were in any of them. She did help piece together some clues, and make some correct hypothesis, like always believing in Cotton's innocence in S1, or figuring out the copycat pattern in S2, or helping solve some of the Rina Reynolds mystery in S3.

Perhaps that's what she meant because she never really "solved" the cases.

She said she "helped"

Lauren Graham is way hotter too!!! Maybe they should've had a mother/daughter killer duo instead of Home Alone's brother.

Same. I totally thought that it would've been an interesting angle to have BOTH her Aunt and her cousin jealous of Sidney and her mothers popularity/infamy.

As I recall didn't the aunt even mention something about being in her sisters shadow?

Oh and also, yeah. Lauren Graham would've been nice. :woot:

Robbie wasnt gay. He was just trying to save his life. It was suppose to be a joke

Kirby's fate I understand ppl being confused about, but Robbie?

But I could not see Lauren as Sid's Aunt. She looks more like a sister...

Also I would like to add that when I saw this back in the LA screening, after we saw the film, reporters asked Hayden if she'd be up for a Scream 5.

Yea I'm not too sure Robbie was gay either. It could be debated forever. but he did have the line about wanting to see some nudity. And yes I realize he could be talking about dude nudity. But I'm pretty sure he just said he was gay as a last desperate attempt at being spared. I was actually right on the killers identity. I posted in the old thread on who I thought the killers were. It was still a bit of a surprise, but not as much. The motives were a bit shocking. And great. Loooooveddd the motives. Especially charlies. You can tell how badly he wanted a girlfriend. Especially kirby. In fact I think 99 percent of this motive was the fact that he couldn't have kirby. Hence the line this time randy gets the girl. My favorite character had to have been kirby this time around. If they make a fifth, I hope they bring her back. She was amazing. Truly one of the most beautiful girls I've ever seen. Her haircut makes her even more attractive lol. Kind of like Jennifer Garners teeth. Overall, the movie was a huge step above the third. But still not in the same league as the first two. Here's to hoping for a sixth. I wouldn't mind that at all.

One cool thing I noticed is that when Kirby and Jill first get to school Jill tells Kirby that Charlie likes her and Kirby says " I know. I just like to watch him squirm." That moment plays different when you know who the killer is. Jill knew then she could manipulate Charlie to whatever end she wanted and use his love of Kirby to push him over the edge. A much darker scene the second time around.

Jill...............that psychotic spoiled *****. Loved her :)

Robbie was totally gay.

In the original sides for him, he was listed as having a secret. Originally Olivia had a line about him being a ''closet boy." and he takes possession of Charlie when the stuff with Kirby is happening. He says ''MY Charlie Walker." I don't know many a straight man who says that about his best friend. Hell, I'm gay and I wouldn't say My like that about my best friend and he's straight.
