and Kirby was the only character that I felt for. If it was up to me, the rest would have died. :p A part of me wanted the bad "guy" to win.
 
Did't hate them... I just did't feel for them. Does that make sense? And also, I kinda felt that Sidney, Gail and Dewey had dodged their deaths too many times already. So at the end I just sat there going "Gawd, just shoot them already!"
 
I am surprised that the entire trio survived but Scream 4 was a complete slam on remakes. Sidney's "never **** with the original" line was great!
 
We got Scream 4 on blu-ray here in Ireland today. How come you guys are getting it so late?
 
The studio probably thinks they'll make more money here by tying it in to Halloween holiday hype.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I mean Thor came out after it and is getting released a month before it on DVD.

My fav thing about this series is the progression of Sidney. She changes so much throughout the series. She's such a strong survivor, and even though part 3 was a bit hit and miss, i love that Sid was so damaged and haunted. In 4 i loved her lack of fear [for the most part], she seemed almost too comfortable and used to being stalked and aurrounded by death. That scene when she's running from ghostface and she's on the house roof with him was really well acted, she ran, but it was almost lazy running, like she was so bored of it all. At one point she turns to look at ghostface and there's this familiar look in her eye, like she's so used to seeing that mask that it's become second nature to her to simply turnback around and keep trying to get away from him.
I'm glad we didn't see her die in part 4, after all these years, i think it would have been unfair to see her not make it. After all, that is what her character represents in the series, survival. At this point though i think they should leave Sid alone, if a 5th gets made, it's time to give her character some peace. I don't mind if Dewy and Gail return though, they're good fun.
 
Can't wait to pick this up next week, been waiting for it all year.
 
I cant wait to rewatch this, I was pissed at the opening weekend viewing by all the loud teens and laughing and texting and making jokes that I couldnt really enjoy the movie and take in the story because I was busy telling people to ****.

I did expect atleast one of the main 3 to die.
 
Yeah, I'm gonna get this. Can't wait to watch this with the first and second.
