**** off, D&D. Arya was stabbed repeatedly in the intestines, and probably her bladder and probably in her reproductive organs. You don't ****ing fix that with a ****ing bandage.

I was hoping they'd at least give a bs magic-related explanation.

And I've wondered how, lacking proper medical care, a whole army of men can survive having both their pillars and their stones removed. I mean, how do they pee? :(

Through the urethra. They cut the penis at the base. After the wound is healed the urethra remains open and they pee through that. So all they've got is a small hole.

And how about that, Frankenmountain!:awesome: It's about time someone told those smug ****ers no.

But wouldn't the original injury swell and fester to the point where they would initially be unable to urinate and get very sick?

The Catholic church and various other religions throughout human history made eunuchs for thousands of years before it was outlawed. If every eunuch died due to the process the practice would have never become so popular. I'm not sure how they helped the wound heal, but they figured out a way to get eunuchs to heal and survive the process.

Eunuchs so far as I knew, only had their stones removed, no? Same as those castrato singers.

EDIT: Wiki agrees with me -- just the stones.

Other than Arya's Wolverine healing powers, and Jaime's character being... ****ing hell... i wont start...

pretty solid episode. very enjoyable to watch.

Hum..how is Arya in any condition to actually run like that...?

My feelings exactly.

The only defense for Jaime that I can grasp at is that Jaime was just saying that stuff to get Edmure to cooperate and he wouldn't actually do anything like catapult a baby go get back to Cersei. He did after all get the castle in a relatively peaceful way. I have to believe that otherwise D&D have severely hurt the character.:(

I agree about Jamie, I doubt he'd do that to a baby even though he did advise against using a threat you can't back up. He knew Edmure was weak and would cave.

I don't like what the showrunners have done to the Jaime character. Didn't he hate his sister at this point in the books?

thats exactly what i mean... his love for cersei pisses me off.

You know what... I loved the ending with Arya... as awful as the magical healing powers are... that was a pretty ****ing good way to end the episode...

considering I know what she does later, I'm happy about tonight. Next week....looks ...****ing....insane.

They shouldn't have taught Arya how to fight blind.

I loved the little smile on Jaqen's face at the end. For whatever reason, Jaqen has a soft spot for Arya. I guess it's her fighting spirit that he admires.

And the Battle of Ice and the Battle of Fire next week!:awesome:

I'm glad they did an about face with this episode. Last week's episode had me worried the season was taking a down turn at the end, but this episode turned things around, and next week looks amazing.
