Yeah, I was the typical sex craved teenaged boy but on the basis of disclosure, I didn't have sex until I was 18. Other than maybe having some mold regret about not waiting and in this special case, having the fact that you lost your virginity plastered in newspapers, I think the kid will be fine.

When does a child stop being a child? 14 is not a child, 14 is a teenager. 14 is the age some kids are starting to enter high school. At 14, all I could think about was boobs and wrestling.

I still consider a 14 year old teenager to be a child.

Pickles, there's a reason why anyone between the age of 13 and 19 is called a teenager. And it's not JUST because the numbers end with the word teen. It's because children and teenagers are two different things. The lifestyle is completely different. The maturity is completely different. Physically they're completely different.

So, calling a 14 year old a child is kinda silly.

What if this had been a ten year old boy?

10 year olds and 14 year olds are two different things.

A 14 year old is NOT old enough to make rational decisions in regards to something like that.

It varies from person to person. Like Guard said earlier, let's not generalize.

I think it's pretty sad on the girls part. She can't find someone her own age to bang, so she has sex with the kid she's babysitting. I don't think the kid will be screwed up from the experience, I'm sure it was a good deal of wish fulfillment for him. However, that doesn't make it right. The mom hired this girl to watch her kid, not play prostitute for him, which she basically was since I'm sure she accepted the money for "babysitting".

The problem with these women is that they are basically grown women with the mental maturity of teenagers. My guess is that they didn't get enough attention from their parents when they were teenagers, so they tried to get attention from boys but they weren't popular in school. Instead of growing up though, as adults they are still stuck in the teenager mindset but see themselves as having the "advantage" of experience. They're still attracted to teenage boys because they didn't mature enough to prefer adult men. It's a shame that because people like this babysitter refuse to grow up, they end up forcing teenage boys to grow up far faster than they are ready for.

Lol, he is ten million times more stubborn than I am, trust me. I think if anything, he's only forced me to become more stubborn. Even then, if we're debating, I'll give up in frustration at times

That's pretty much the jist of my argument, moreso the fact that I find the use of the term "abuse" in this case to be incredibly laughable.

Clearly, no childish activities can ever change their level of maturity over the years, and children do the same things during their entire childhood

I don't agree with every law, but I definitely agree that legally, a 14 year old is still a child. Why do people want children to grow up so fast these days? There was plenty of time for this boy to be introduced to sexual activities later on, and with someone his own age.
