I can't believe people were obnoxious enough to call her ugly or hideous. She must feel terrible after that.

She comes across as a tough, confident girl. I don't think she lets it get to her. I, for one, think she's beautiful and very talented. I want to see her return.

Those people are childish. From what I understand, the set photos taken of her were from early in the morning right after she woke up. She didn't really get ready to film yet, had no makeup on, and was probably still tired. Shailene is beautiful if you ask me.

I agree, it's unfortunate. Luckily all that's in the past now, and Im sure she's wise enough not to let those ridiculous comments get to her.

But yeah, after watching her work I think she'll be great addition and hopefully Webb still intends to use her. Look forward to hearing more news.

No new information on MJ but I'm pretty optimistic about Shai's return. However, if they decide to recast, I hope they mention it soon. The 'suspense' is killing me.

Do you think this is the case?I mean I know that directors and people associated with superhero movie franchise look at the various websites all the time.The question is can it affect director so much so that they might change certain things in the movie?

I think it was a mixture of Shailene getting into another franchise (Divergent) and wanting to focus on Gwen and Peter, as they've said.

Yeah, the petty reactions of fanboys doesn't prompt the studios to change. It just reflects poorly on said fanboys. That was easily one of the most disgusting moments I've seen in the comic book community.

Maybe they just aren't thrilled about having to share her with another big franchise. I don't know, there's definitely more to this than meets the eye. From the comment that she made though, it does seem that even if she was asked to return, she wouldn't want to (assuming that the sequels for Divergent actually take off).

Either way, I guess this confirms that the rumored October production schedule released a few weeks ago probably had nothing to do with Woodley. Otherwise, she most likely would have been contacted by the studio at some point to firm up those dates.

I think with Sony it's not a matter of another franchise, it's that it's a competing franchise. Both try to be the summer blockbusters most likely around the same times, unlike Jennifer Lawrence with the Hunger Games franchise and the X-Men movies which somehow manage to not coincide with each other.

Actually the early predictions are that it could be a hit because the books are selling so well and it has a huge social media presence. I'm not saying it won't tank because most of the YA films turn out to be duds at the box office I'm just saying it has the best shot out of all of them. I think it looks bad but I can't predict numbers based on personal feelings.

Are you saying that both would be filmed around the same time? Because Divergent isn't a Summer film series so there is no conflict there.
