Ri-friggin-diculous.
It's the only way I can justify this movie's badness.
Ri-friggin-diculous.
You do know how you sound though, right? Not exactly like someone who doesn't have a chip on their shoulder over this.
I was actually enjoying Covenant a little bit more than Prometheus for the 1st half of the film. Then the 2nd half revelations happened, with the Xenomorph origin reveal getting me really angry really fast.I actually liked Alien Covenant more than Prometheus. But it was similarly flawed, and I found it only ever so slightly better. So that is not saying much. Both films are criminally boring and full of stupid.
I think there is a happy medium somewhere. We don't want to see the same movie 100 times. I can agree there. But at the same time, you don't want to go too far outside the box. I think both sides can be satisfied if done right.
For me, the 2010 PREDATORS is still a fun watch.
Well I think so, but I can't speak for any one else. I re-watched it pretty recently too and while I do still prefer the first two over it it's a solid entry in the franchise in my opinion. My biggest gripe with it is probably the Predator's getting taken out a bit too easily, but other than that I do enjoy it for the most part, especially because of the more serious/darker tone. Not saying there's anything wrong with humor being in a Predator movie, but I keep hearing everybody describe this as having MCU type humor which just sounds horrible and that's coming from someone who is an MCU fan.
sooo good). I loved the crew, Shane wrote nicely peculiar and eccentric characters. The pacing was great, no boring moments whatsoever. There were some shaneblack-isms other directors would not put into a Predator movie, IMO, but... well duh. The action was solid, thanks god it was R-rated, some takedowns were really gruesome.I think there is a happy medium somewhere. We don't want to see the same movie 100 times. I can agree there.
