The crowed i saw it with clapped when the film ended. Packed theater.
This only happened to me with MOS, both times i went the crowd went nuts in applause, 2nd time a little more, bunch of cheering and clapping. Hoping i'll be able to relive this experience again tomorrow and Saturday.![]()
Nope. But i'm going to see it for myself tomorrow to judge it for myself instead of listening to RT. Three years of hype ain't gonna be for nothing.Have you seen it yet?
I always enjoy the hyperbole and exaggeration in these threads. In that vein, here is my crowd report:
There was a man in a wheel chair at my showing. When the film ended, the audience all leaped up from their seats and gave a rousing standing ovation. Unfortunately, this poor handicapped man looked particularly pained, clearly by the fact that he could not get up from his seat and give this film the proper standing tribute it deserved. Then "A Zack Snyder Film" credit came onto the screen. Suddenly a light shone down upon this wheel chair bound man. The light emanated from Zack Snyder's name onto the man. Suddenly, he was able to stand and walk and most importantly give Zack Snyder the standing ovation he so deserved.
True story.
Just got back from watching. LOVED it. Seriously ignore the critics. It's amazing. Every minute was pure joy. I don't understand what people meant by some scenes were out of place. Flowed fine for me. I'm angry at the critics honestly. Totally unfair reviews. I went in with low expectations because of rotten tomatoes and every once in awhile kept asking myself where was the bad parts I kept hearing about? Well they never came. I feel bad for case and Snyder because of these undeserved poor reviews. Buy your tickets.

Outside the movies. Round of applause. A lot of talking. And kids behind me saying it was the best movie they ever saw. The critics had a hate on. BvS is basically the same as MoS but "darker" due to Batman's inclusion. My personal thoughts 7/10. It is very heavy on the easter eggs and a lot of people might not get them all. The cuts between scenes in the first half was like panels in a comic book so I get why it might be jarring for the critics.
U two can't help yourselves and ended up writing less about the theater audience as opposed to ur own personal views. By virtue of all of us being members of this community we are anything BUT the general audience...lol. With that said, I do realize most people seeing it Thursday and Friday aren't "general" in the true sense- but for now they will do just fine.Just got back from watching. LOVED it. I bet they did.
I bet they did.
It was for me.
And I expected to go in and like it.
I really can't help but think people are projecting what they wanted to hear onto their audience. This is a movie with precious few spots for cheers and clapping.
