I guess I'm the only one here who found Pepperony "meh", I just wasn't feeling them. I buy them more as close friends.

They need to show more intense eye contact between Staron in CW to build a connection. For once I would love to see an intense romantic pairing in the MCU.

Steggy seemed more old world/old fashioned/what might've been romance, Pepperony a friendship romance, Jane/Thor your obligatory romance, and Hulktasha your forced romance IMO.

Also will plans for Staron change after the popularity of Cap/Widow? Can't wait to find out.

I'm guessing it won't bc they still went ahead with the Hulktasha storyline when AoU started filming two months after TWS was released. One of the Avengers actors said that Whedon kept making changes to the script during filming.

Also Russos said in the DVD audio commentary that Cap/Nat have a nice sibling-bro/sis relationship and I would have to agree with them.

No the rules on SHH no pirated scenes, until Disney/Marvel releases AOU on Blu Ray/DVD those scenes are pirated, the Mods has been telling us not to post pirated pictures. To be on the safe side I would just take it down just in case, that way no one gets into trouble.

Yeah I don't mind them as a couple too, but their romance is just meh IMO.

Hope M/M, Russos, and Evans/EVC can deliver something new, intense and fresh with Staron.

There a lot of reasons also this Steve Rogers were talking about his movies don't have happy endings like Tony/Thor's does, also comic CW doesn't end well for Staron but I don't want a fake out death Marvel you played that card so much its getting on my nerves, now Steve going into exile I would love that. Also I would tip my hat off if the villain wins instead of the hero almost every Marvel movie the hero wins its getting boring.

It's not this forum you have to worry about, it's the general public, who did not like the Bruce/Natasha thing, and for them, the Sharon/Steve thing might come out of left field. Look, I didn't see any buzz for Sharon after TWS. Don't expect the GA to welcome her and Steve with open arms, regardless what the comics were about. Heck, it doesn't help matters either that it's Hayley Atwell going to all of these events to promote Cap 3 (like comic con), not Emily Van Camp. And I thought EVC is filming all summer, but last I heard, she's back in LA already while everyone else is still in Atlanta.

Not all people here. I didn't think the Staron scenes were forced in TWS; the first I found cute and awkward and the second intensely good.

I don't get it either since at least with Staron Cap asked her out for coffee and it looked like he was going to give her a call at the end! It was so obvious that Cap clearly liked Sharon. What wasn't clear was how Sharon felt about Cap. If a romance happens in CW how is that out of the blue?? As far as the romance being forced that remains to be seen.

But how cute are they?

Chris Evans has huge chemistry with Elizabeth Olsen in AOU too. I expect they will get more screen time together in Civil War, since Scarlet Witch is way more popular right now. And yes Olsen had great time with Chris when they were filming according to those set photos.

However, I believe they won't focus on the romance anyway. The Cap/Bucky bromance is too strong. Nothing can beat Stucky.

You mention all characters Chris Evans has had more than ample enough screen time with. Sharon and Cap only shared one scene together, so I think its a bit unfair to compare her chemistry with other characters. The truth is, people just aren't giving EVC a chance.

Van Camp definitely suffers by comparison with Hayley Atwell and Scarlett Johansson, both of whom are talented and charismatic actresses playing well-crafted characters. There may be no way for Sharon to compete with Peggy in the eyes of the audience, who view Steve & Peggy as a great, tragic romance. It will take great writing to sell Sharon as a replacement for arguably the best girlfriend in a Marvel film, for whom Steve still longs. That could come off worse than Brutasha, as hard as that is to believe.

I do share the opinion (suspicion) that EVC was cast for development/exposure by the the Disney machine much like there is a Disney kid cast on Dancing with the Stars every year. She is being groomed/developed for other things. She's attractive and seems to be a competent actress so why not?

Despite that, EVC is arguably the least well-cast of all the MCU girlfriends in terms of her cinematic resume. She may or may not prove to be a good character on film who has a good story and has good chemistry with CE. We'll see. Everyone benefits if she does.

And Peggy IS the best of the MCU girlfriends. Bar none.

I love, love, love Hayley Atwell and the ghost ship Steggy. Their story was great because their attraction was mutual and obvious, but not really acted upon until the last minute. But I don't consider the relationship as being tragic. Ultimately, it was sort of bittersweet. They were separated by presumed heroic death, and then were reunited in friendship [BLACKOUT] and THEN separated again by actual, natural death; presumably[/BLACKOUT]. So, their story had its resolution of sorts.

As a side note, it would be fantastic if HA and CE could find a project to act in together (other than instagram mug shots and YT vidlets), even if its in a not-quite-romantic relationship (maybe business rivals who were former lovers -- classic screwball comedy trope!) to give Steggy fans something to chew on since the ghost ship has sailed.

-Steve is killed

That is unfair to compare since again, she only got 3 minutes of screen time so she wasn't on set for that long. Chris has known SJo for more than a decade, he worked with Hayley for an entire movie, and the others as well. Plus what matters is ON SCREEN since we will never know what truly happens off screen.

Also why would EVC be at comic con 2014? She was working on Revenge.

Even Olsen and Aaron said in an interview that they mostly got along with Renner since they worked with him the most.

I love those gifs and it was just an excuse to post them. And you're just projecting your EVC hate on those gifs. I seriously can't think of a better actress to play Sharon that ticks all the criteria. Russos auditioned many actresses but telling from the list none shared chemistry and looked great with Evans. Evans is too pretty.

Well overall I thought EVC did a good job in Revenge. Emily Thorne and Sharon Carter are similar in many ways.

MCU Peggy and Black Widow aren't in the same league. Atwell did a better job with Peggy's characterization. SJo's Black Widow's characterization in the MCU is so inconsistent like she's having an identity crisis in each four films. If you look at RDJ, Evans, and Hemsworth they played their characters more consistently.

Atwell is a far better actress, more talented, intelligent, and charismatic than SJo.

Also Sharon is not Peggy's replacement, Peggy is not replaceable and was never Cap's girlfriend since they never even dated once.
