Civil War Sharon carter A.K.A. Agent 13 - Part 1

OMG she was horrible in that movie. Really made me anti-Robbie anything.

And no no, heck-to-the-motherlovin' NOPE to JLaw as Carol. For one, I have massive JLaw fatigue and her last few roles from SLP on were severely overrated for me, and two... I am already having to tolerate BS rumors about Chris Evans and her schtupping. I cannot with her being in the MCU.

See JLaw fatigue has begun. Also I didn't think her Oscar for SLP was deserved, her Tiffany and that movie are overrated and nothing special. I thought her Katniss in Catching Fire was better than her Tiffany. If she wins another Oscar I think there will be backlash as well as fatigue.

Evans and her? That would be cool! The only movie she has coming up that I want to see is Passengers with Chris Pratt.

I think I'm going to buy this set, not just for Giant-Man but also for Sharon Carter. I wish they'd give her the classic white jumpsuit instead of a bored grey top and black pants outfit, though.

Truth is, there's not much to talk about. She had a very small role in the last movie. She's not a fan favorite like BW. People can only talk about Sharon Carter for so long, but maybe that will change after Civil War.

Yes more Sharon. I doubt she or Sam will get a round 2 with Brock. Grillo was only on set for around a week or two fighting Cap.

Well I'm a Sharon fan, and she's one of my favs! Also it's hard to be a fav by many when you were only given 3 mins of screen time in one movie. BW has been in four movies. I recall she wasn't a fan fav after IM2 where she got MORE THAN 3 mins of screen time and there was plenty of complaints about her portrayal back then.

I was a bit desappointed too, but it makes sense. She wears her white outfit when she works for Shield in the comics right? That her work outfit but since she is with the CIA for now, no white costume.

I think she will get it eventually in the next movie we'll see her (if there's a new movie with her). Since they introduced this character "gradually" first she was kate, then agent 13 and now finally Sharon Carter, it makes sense that they are not giving her white outfit right away.

Personally, I don't think BW was portrayed very well until TWS. I know Whedon tried to boost her screentime up in The Avengers but I didn't really start liking her until the second Capt. America movie.

Which is why it's sorta unfair to compare each characters popularity and who is the most fav since MCU BW is played by a more well known name, was afforded vastly more screen time in multiple movies, more chances and it helps that she's the fav character/actress of Joss and the Russos.

Yeah it'd be cool if SamSharon double beats him ala WS/IM/Cap in the trailer since their fights were interrupted, but nooooo it's Cap who gets to finish him off or should I say X-bones finishes himself off.

The problem with Sharon Carter is that she's not an Avenger and is primarily known as a love interest to a main lead character. The reason(s) why Black Widow got way more screen time in IM2 than Sharon did in TWS should not be that difficult to comprehend.

Sharon's more than a love interest, she's a Cap main supporting character like Sam, Fury, and Bucky.

Actually it is difficult to comprehend. Yes, AVENGER BW needed screen time in IM2 to set up TA and her character, but then again why did fellow avenger Hawkeye only get 1 minute in Thor? It's difficult to comprehend that main supporting Cap character who plays a major part in his mythos Sharon only got 3 flimsy minutes in a Cap movie. There were plenty of opportunities to have given her more screen time.

Well, as they say, it is what it is.

If they had SC and Cap encounter each other and maybe clear the air with a brief conversation about her being his watchdog prior to Cap's meeting with Pearce (instead of their rather terse interchange as they crossed paths in front of Pearce's office -- lol) that might have been an opportunity to strengthen her position as a supporting character in his world rather than a mere 3-minute appearance where her on-screen character was lacking in development. Then her investment in the launch room face-off and his motivation to call her later might have been more impactful.
