Those logos were already present on their costumes, most of DC heroes have logos on their costumes, Lex didn't come-up with anything on his own.


I mean who can miss Bat on Batman's costume or "S" on Superman's suit and "W" on Wonder Woman's suit, lightning bolt for Flash or "A" on Aquaman's belt..

Lex did invent Cyborg's logo.

I don't know about Flash but I did state my theory earlier in this thread for the reason on why there is more JL merch. The League's fight with the resurrected Superman was out in the open and surrounded by tall buildings in the daylight. Someone in a few of those buildings could have recorded footage or took pictures of the fight. The only hero that doesn't have a logo on him is Cyborg. So that could be the reason why Freddy doesn't have a Cyborg logo shirt.

Asher Angel actually looks more like Levi there. They've all been reported but not sure if officially announce. It's awesome there's a lot more to the movie than the trailer showed.

I hope Michelle Borth is cast, because she is a great match for Grace Fulton.

I think Jack Dylan Grazer would've been better as Billy though, even if Asher Angel might look a bit more like Zach. And it's not like Jack doesn't look like Zach either. He looks like he could grow up into Chuck. Chuck even had hair similar to that in Season 1.

Asher seems less extroverted than Zach or Jack. Isn't Shazam just a physical change to an adult, but his personality and mental age is still that of a teenager? Therefore he should be exactly the same as he is when he's younger once he becomes Shazam.

I love Shazam and while part of me will always love Captain Marvel being a separate person to Billy like he was originally written, I am ok with it being Billy in an adult body. JLU played it really well. He was star struck by his heroes he was fighting side by side with but he was a capable hero in his own right. He has the powers of the Gods, I hope they show him using them. The one scene where his walking with a purpose in what looks like a carnival seems like maybe this film will have him taking a serious route as well. I don’t want him to be goofy all the time. I know this is based on the new 52 version but I really really hope besides Freddy and Mary we don’t see anymore Marvels. I don’t care for the Shazam Power Ranger family from the new 52. To many and Billy starts to lose his appeal. Also please let Shazam have some lightening effects around his eyes and all similar to Thor from Ragnarok. For a first trailer though I was impressed

That's the route the movie seems to be taking. It's not always the case in the comics.

I know this is based on the new 52 version but I really really hope besides Freddy and Mary we don’t see anymore Marvels. I don’t care for the Shazam Power Ranger family from the new 52.

They've already been cast, as the picture above attests to.

And this isn't any more Marvels than the the previous version.

Plus there was:
Freckles
& Uncle Dudley.

They just replaced the Lieutenant Tall, Fat, and Hill, with three new characters, Pedro, Darla & Eugene.

I'm sure they won't dominate the movie, and will be used like in Johns /& Franks SHAZAM! reboot, the movie is mostly based on.
To introduce the foster family, and only show up to share the power at the end.
But most will be just Billy getting and discovering all his new powers, with just Freddy tagging along.
The final discovery will be the ability to share it. = Becoming a family, theme.
And that's how the defeat Teth Adam I mean Dr. Sivana

You realize that putting on the suit takes more time right? He would have to be in shape, fitting, dressing, hair styling. Playing Superman is more involved. Can't really say it would cost the same when we don't know his contract or rate.

The Wizard Shazam is the adult hero who explains things. Billy is HIS champion. It sounds like shoehorning Superman for no real reason. Superman/Shazam First Thunder was about their first meeting. It wasn't about Shazam's origin story. Why do you want to merge those stories? Just for Superman?

You are way overestimating how much time it will take.

I want it because I think it is a cool moment that does nothing to take away anything from Shazam but builds up the universe more. Do you not want it because it is Superman?

The Wizard spends all his time in the Rock of Eternity. He doesnt do much training unless Billy visits him. I highly doubt that will happen much.

Yeah I know it’s happened before and all but I prefer it to be Billy , Freddy, and Mary. Those 3 have always mostly been the main heroes and I’m just not a fan of the sharing his powers with the entire group so he can overcome his villain. Billy being the wizards champion should make him fully capable to handle the villains with his only drawback being his inexperience in this first film. It’s just my gripe though and it definitely won’t prevent me from seeing and hopefully enjoying what looks to be an awesome and fun movie.

No telling at this point if it will become a franchise, but in general I agree.

Except we already know they are in it.
Again if it's like the Johns / Frank arc, it's just for one scene. Revealing his final power: that he can share the power, and gets what he wanted all along a family.
Then it wears off them, and Billy/SHAZAM! goes after the big bad Teth Adam Sivana, solo with all the power at his command.

That could happen if it's just like Wonder Woman's photo. I don't think people should expect anything more than that like a full scene with Superman in costume or anything, which they would have to pay Cavill more and would be a distraction. It could be just a moment with Clark Kent.

Maybe the Shazam family will only be in the end. The final scene will probably be the rest of Billy's adopted siblings also getting inside the Rock of Eternity and they get powers from Shazam as well. Leading into the sequel.
