She-Hulk

Bumpage to the sixth power.

Plus I needed to resubscribe to this thread as the Hype decided that I didn't need my subscribed threads anymore and that I needed to resubscribe to them all over again. You know, that old chestnut.

And also, this book needs to be discussed more. Because it's that damn good. And if you're not down with She-Hulk and Dan Slott...well, that's just your opinion. :cmad: Though they both rule...and you better recognize...beotch.

Today would be a good day for some SHH's to pick up the new issue of She-Hulk....And look in the letters column.........

This was quite an interesting one-obviously the Jen/John marriage is now over, (and good riddance I say,) but what are we going to do with Starfox now?!? He's not a rapist, (thank god,) but as Jen correctly points out he did screw up her life and moreover he's now responsible for making Thanos the terrible genocidal creature that he is. So what on earth are the other Eternals on Titan going to do with him now?

He'd probably be imprisoned for countless acts of manslaughter. While he didn't do it intentionally, his actions resulted in his brother going insane and becoming one of the worst mass murderers in the universe.

Man Marvel really is going bleak with all their formerly light-hearted characters aren't they? Former carefree playboy of the Universe is now an enabler to genocide. Well we did get one fun meta comment when he tells the shapeshifter who says he can't impersonate the comic book librarian, saying "I don't know anything about comic book continuity," "In today's state of comics that's not a problem."

Least they have the strength to admit it...

Well, it's not like Eros was a role model. His using his love powers to get laid was always morally questionable, and they only recently touched upon this in She-Hulk. As for the deal with Thanos, they were what, eight when it happened? He was just trying to make his brother feel better by using his fledgeling powers. He couldn't expect that it would lead his brother down the path if nihilism, madness, and eventually his countless acts of genocide.

I want to get more into She-Hulk, I hear it's great and my friends tell me so. :D

Any trades I should pick up first? Id appreciate the help guys.

True but still it's an awesome guilt trip to lay on what was before a fairly light-hearted character.

True.

Just showing some support for Shulkie. What I enjoyed about the recent issue was that it had a lot of information and was still fun. Yeah.

Another fun issue of She-Hulk, yes!

Man, I was cracking up with that sequence of little Thanos and little Starfox. :woot:

The twist at the end is definitely interesting and a revelation not in Starfox's favor.

Yeah good issue, im glad to see theyre wrapping up this Starfox story and hopefully Pug gets some well deserved sex.

Even if Pug doesn't end up with Jen, he's in dire need of a laying. Maybe he gets some pity sex from a nubile Eternal woman. :o

man,.... i hope that the thanos who showd up is not the real deeaal but a fake sent to set up starfox,... because if it is the realdeal,. ... ol' eros is toast.
