Wanda in the new trailer though, zapping Vision. That made me sad. lol

I knew Wanda would do something like that to Vision. I knew it.

Wanda's the only one on TeamCap who could even remotely handle Vision
so It's not surprising they will be fighting, before (hopefully) reconciling

Well they were fighting in the promo shots too. Wanda is far and beyond the character I'm most excited for outside of Cap and maybe BP

Lol, maybe she beats Vision badly, then she realizes what she's done and they both pull out of the war to go live quietly somewhere and have kids. Hahaha. Prelude to "House of M"

Yeah it was a bit of a shock to see Wanda do that to Vision, now I see what the Russo's mean about Vision discovering his limits, maybe he isn't as powerful as he thinks. And Wanda might show him that.

If you look closely there is also someone by her feet laid down, I guess she might also be protecting someone, looks a little like Hawkeye if I had to guess!

Wanda trying to melt Vision like that had me like...

I saw that. I thought it could be one of Martin Freeman's men. It makes me wonder if this is all before the scene were Cap bulls that helicopter? Like He, Falcon, and Wanda break out to get their confiscated weapons back? Someone could've gotten hurt, Wanda may be trying to leave, and Vision (who is still talking in that scene) is trying to stop her?

Ant-Man looks so CGI-ed in that gif. I love how Scarlet Witch launches herself though.

Yes, I felt the same way seeing this. But it seems like they're not trying to kill each other, just making the other stand down (literally). Unfortunately, to put Vision, an all-powerful being in his place, Wanda has to take radical steps to overpower him, thus using such a force to put him in submission (notice the floor crumbling beneath him with such forceful weight). She probably has no choice but to be so brutal in this matter. And notice too Vision's somewhat shocked expression. As the Russo brothers pointed out, he's realizing his limitations in CW.

Hopefully all of this conflict between the two make their relationship stronger in the end. To be able to forgive each other after all this pain, that's real love right there, and given the statements Paul Bettany made about Vision discovering humanity and love hints at a possible positive conclusion for the two. At least, let's hope.

Yeah, you're probably right. I really don't think Wanda is trying to kill Vision. The deleted scene showing the fight between Vision and Thor almost had them as equals. Wanda being able to subdue Vision like that shows just how powerful she is. I think Wanda and Vision will have a very interesting relationship. They both got their powers from an infinity stone, particularly the mind stone. I'd like the Russos to expand on that.

Some new Civil War footage with Wanda and Sharon Carter:

Keep in mind, we don't know 100% that she's hurting Vision. She might be trying to use her powers to pull something out of him, like maybe some kind of quasi-magic computer virus or something.

No, he discovered his limits, she's giving him a power-up and.... well, it hurts :D

I love how you all ignore the fact that, in the shot when she is taking Vision down, she is wearing her Age of Ultron outfit

Just sayin'

Hey, whatever a consenting adult mutated woman and her magical density-changing android do in private is none of my business.

I was wondering that as well Godzillasaurus, but not that she's wearing her AOU get-up, but instead that these two scenes above occur sequentially. Notice it looks like she's wearing the same jacket or dress in both shots. If that's the case, then this shot where she takes down Vision happens quite early on in the film, almost immediately after the team is handed out the Sokovia Accords. This may not be too much of a stretch, because that scene appears to have most of Team Cap (with the exception of Black Widow). Rodey and Vision don't seem to be present during that conference, which means Tony has already divided most of the Avengers during this time.

It's just a theory. I guess all we can do now is speculate on the situation. :)

After Thanos, I'd say Wands is the most powerful character in the MCU, so I'm not surprised that she is owning Vision in that scene.
