Kid, you are 20 years old, there really doesn't have to be a "confirmation" about it unless you or her are really insecure. It's one of those things just kinda go without saying. And it just happens that one day you or her will refer the other one and just say bf or gf. There you go.

^I fully support this statement. I'll call a guy my boyfriend with or without his permission if I've been dating him for a while. And I won't get bent out of shape if he doesn't call me his girlfriend. Everyone's got their own definition of what that means. For me it's just an easy thing to call the guy I'm seeing, especially if it's been a while. Don't make a big deal out of it. If you're seeing each other and nobody else, then yes you're boyfriend and girlfriend.

Well, this girl obviously wanted confirmation. And I do know people who are dating but one of the people does NOT want them to be an actual "couple," so I think in many cases confirmation is needed to see where the people stand.

If you've been going out with a girl for a few weeks and you both like each other should there be some sort of confirmentation that your bf+gf. Should the guy ask the girl to be his gf even though your dating and it feels like it but nothing has been said?

I've been going out with this girl for a month now and we are more less a couple but I hear from her friend that I should ask her to be my gf even though it feels like she is already. I'm pretty certain the gal I'm dating asked her friend to hint me this.

Alright, this kinda situation is completely dependant of the lady in questino and since you have told us nothing about us, none of us are really in any situation to give you any kinda decent advice on the situation.

in any case, it's such a trivial thing that which ever way you play it makes really no difference in the long run.
