****ing hypocrites all of you.

This is just like the dork-sided person in a comicbook movies thread who was stirring up people against Ben Affleck for dissing comic movies 'cause he commented that George Reeves may've looked heroic and happy, but didn't want to be stuck on a kids show.....Ben Affleck who reads comics to this day and wouldn't shut up about how excited he was to get to play Daredevil.

By the way, John Kerry also wants to abort Jesus while having gay sex with Osama bin Laden on a burning American flag.

Ah yes.

They believe that the only people who join the military are those without other opportunites.

In other words, the losers of society.
Well how many rich kids join the military? Not many. That's why recruiters go to the high schools in the poor neighborhoods.

The military is filled with people from working class families.

True story.

he didn't accuse anyone of anything. he simply told the truth.

Really?

Sound familiar? This was just what John Kerry did back in 1971, when he told tales (many of them false) of war crimes in Vietnam. Yet in his own mind, he wasn't accusing troops of anything, as he explained in a 2004 CNN interview:

I was accusing American leaders of abandoning the troops. And if you read what I said, it is very clearly an indictment of leadership. I said to the Senate, where is the leadership of our country? And it's the leaders who are responsible, not the soldiers. I never said that. I've always fought for the soldiers.

War crimes do, of course, exist, even if Kerry told fabricated stories. To excuse war criminals by denying that soldiers are responsible for their actions is an insult to everyone who has ever worn a military uniform and conducted himself honorably and lawfully.

so what?

It still doesn't represent all of the military.

Should I assume by your statement that those who go to college or university are too cowardly to serve in the military?

 that's an opinion piece from the wsj. it doesn't even explain which lies they're talking about. got anything else?

It's on the public record as to what John Kerry accused the troops of doing in Vietnam and most of what he said were proven fabrications so he could get elected.

no, you're liying, no such things are on the "public record"

sorry. you're 38 seriously?

His testimony before Congress, just before he ran for office, is in the public record.

and where in the public record is the part where they were proven to be fabrications(so he could get elected)?

Why are we even dicussing Kerry? He (sadly isn't) the leader of the free world, he didn't start a needless war that we have noway out of. He didn't start a needless war that is getting poor 18 year old American kids and countless innocent Iraq's killed everyday. He didn't lie to us about WMD's! This Kerry thing is nothing more than a useless GOP talking point that has no baring on the important issues at hand, we have a criminal in the oval office and he must be stopped, Kerry's comments about Bush's draft dodging ass be damned.

I think what he's basically saying is that the poor and uneducated end up on the frontline in Iraq and that's basically true.
It is true. No, he should not have to apologise for anything. The man is a combat vet..............unlike Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and that b**ch Tony Snow.:cmad:

This has been a not-well kept secret in the service for years. Go TALK to a person in the service or an honest recruiter.

So if a future presidential candidate spoke out against what happened at Abu Ghraib you would consider that a "fabrication" just to get elected?

In Tennessee, Congressman Harold Ford Jr., a Democrat, echoed calls for an apology. “Whatever the intent, Senator Kerry was wrong to say what he said.”

no, you don't get it.
Kerry said somethings and they are on public record.
then later an opinion journal told jonty they where lies.
hence, Kerry is liying on record.

get it?

you just don't understand politics :rushonpillsmockingmichaeljfox:

As a member of the Navy I can tell you it is not true. People from all walks of life join the services. Yes rich people usually dont join the military....but they usually dont get jobs also. The military is a serious commitment and if anyone joins for the money they are in for the shock of their lives.

Everybody effing knows that the army very frequently provides the only alternative for poor people, and what he said in no way suggests that the army is comprised of uneducated people.
There are plenty of educated people who CHOOSE to enlist, and there are hordes of uneducated, drifting people who "get stuck".

...as always.

 Yes.

Being poor does not mean your dumb. That's basically what dumb ass Kerry said, lmfao.

Seriously, all the Democrats had to do was be quiet.
