Should Luke Cage get his own on-going?

he should just go back to running the heroes for hire, then they would be sick

i think iron fist can carry a comic without luke's help so no

His title from the 90's wasn't good... but with a good writer and artist, I'd check it out if he gets another shot. Give him a decent rogue's gallery, and no hanging in ''the hood'' for every adventure.

We don't need another Power Man/Iron Fist. Separate Power Man and Iron Fist books along with them being in the Heroes for Hire book would be perfect.

The Immortal Iron Fist is being written by Ed Brubaker and Matt Fraction. Yeah, it's going to be good.

I agree with that for the most part. It's like Ironfist said in the Dr Strange mini they're partners not a couple. Both characters are strong enough IMO to carry their own book, it's nice to see them interact but I don't feel they need each other at all.

Considering how much Bendis obviously loves Luke Cage, and how Marvel loves to milk his popularity, I'm surprised we already haven't had a LUKE CAGE series again. I think it's been not because Marvel doesn't want to milk us, but for whatever reason Bendis hasn't requested to do one. Because what he wants, he gets.

I'm excited about the new IF book, hopefully it won't suck like the last one. I know Brubaker's "good" and all, but if he resurrects yet another dead character or introduces some massive 20 year retcon, I'll tune out. I'm tired of that crap.

Was never a huge fan of Cage, even though Bendis has been good for him. So if a new Cage series came out I probably wouldn't get it.

Luke cage books usally get canceleld no matter how good or bad the stories are. I personally would not pick up a comic on Luke Cage, not even if Iron fist was in it. I just done dig characters with nothing really going for them.

To make sure everyone knows Luke Cage sucks. I will only die when the world realises this.

If Bendis or Brubaker wrote it this time, I'm sure it'd sell well. The numbers suggest that people buy Civil War and New Avengers, both of which Luke Cage plays a prominent role in. Bendis especially has generated a lot of interest in him through Alias and Daredevil, I'm sure.

No, he shouldn't. Team book characters can have mini's only, no ongoings.

Having a H4H book without Luke Cage and Iron Fist is like having a Rush Hour movie starring Ed Asner and Mickey Rooney

Yeah, but the readers don't buy NA and CW because Luke Cage is in it.
Ironfist could have gotten his spot on the NA and the comic would have the same sales. And you hardly see Luke Cage in CW.

Spider-Man and Wolverine pose something of a problem to that theory...

I'd watch it. Anything with Ed Asner is better than everything without him put together.

Beat me to the punch Corpy. So i'll just say "Yeah Mr. flawed logic guy!"

everyone is free to have their own opinion as to buyability.

stirring the pot you are, setting p for a flame war that will never happen you have.

Hellz Yeah I'd buy it!

I'd rather a H4H written by Brubaker with Luke and Danny, but we got an IronFist ongoing so I'm gonna read that.

Now a Cage book written by BMB I'd read (even though I dislike BMB, he's good for Luke.) Also how does Luke have nothing to offer Sloth?
