Should Mark Ruffalo play Hulk in Hulk 2?

Yes, I think he should. However, I'm not sure how well a solo film will sell. I know I'd see it but I think most in the general audience are pretty wary of a Hulk solo film and I think that it would almost be a harder sell than a Hawkeye/Black Widow/Nick Fury/Shield/whatever the hell they do with that side of things, movie. Just my personal opinion though.

It would great if they could pull it off and eventually include other Gamma monsters in the MCU.

A Ruffalo Hulk movie with Hulk fighting gamma monsters created from his blood samples The Leader has is the way to go.

Yes, he should and would play Hulk in a Hulk 2. No, I don't think a Hulk 2 will happen. Although a Planet Hulk movie would be swell

i don't really care if they do another solo hulk film. just keep him in the avengers. it would be awesome however if he had a small part or cameo in some other marvel films like iron man or captain america.

have you seen the animated planet hulk film? i actually watched it last week and it was pretty cool. the animation was decent but not great but having never actually read planet hulk, i was thoroughly entertained by the story and the twists at the end.

What's the plot fo Planet Hulk (in a nutshell?)

If there was another Solo Hulk films Mark Ruffalo would be In It.The question Is will they ever do another Hulk solo film.More likely the use Hulk In Avengers sequel and do Hulk TV show that Is prequel to Films.

The good guys send Hulk away on a shuttle for being so deadly, he lands on an alien planet, becomes Maxim- er, um, becomes Spartacu- I mean, he becomes a gladiator, fights for his freedom, joins the rebels, kills the emperor, becomes king, takes a wife, gets her pregnant, wife is killed when the shuttle is tampered with and explodes, Hulk returns to Earth for revenge on the good guys, cue World War Hulk

Basically, it's when Hulk stopped being about Bruce Banner's journey, and Hulk himself became the star as a fully self aware, completely rational, multi-faceted being.

I will never understand why people think prequels are the way to go, especially in TV land, where they need a lot of different stories and unpredictable endings, especially when Ruffalo doesn't do regular TV.

I don't see a Planet Hulk movie happening for a good while, MCU Hulk hasn't gotten that bad that the heroes would need to intervene and shoot him off into space.

Ah, you might want to put spoiler tags on that.

You don't need the same exact reasoning to make a Planet Hulk story work. The important thing about that story is this: Hulk gets shot out into space and lands on Sakaar. It doesn't matter who shoots him out into space or why to make that story work. It could just as easily be a villain, like the Leader, who exiles the Hulk into space. Or he might end up there by accident, just like how Iron Man very nearly ended up getting stranded out in space in Avengers. If Marvel really wanted to do it, they could very easily do Planet Hulk without having the other heroes conspire to betray and exile him from the planet.

Personally I consider either one of those alternatives to be better than adapting that element of the story. Particularly since it'd mean there would be no reason for an adaptation of the crappy World War Hulk follow-up, as Hulk would feel no reason to get revenge on the other heroes.

It's a six-year-old comic story.

Yeah the heroes blasting Hulk into space completely flies in the face of the friendship Stark formed with Banner in Avengers. There are a bunch of potential alternate openings that could lead into the Planet Hulk story without making the Earth heroes Hulk's enemies

Yeah, like if Ultron sent him into space as a contingency plan or something.

I don't think Ruffalo would be interested in the Planet Hulk storyline. I hope for a Leader movie with Hulk fighting some gamma monsters or something but please, no Red Hulk

Hulk the Barbarian would be esthetically pleasing to me.

keep ruffalo regardless.. don't keep changing actors in each film..

They made neither Banner nor the Hulk all that likeable. I'm okay with Banner not being too likeable, but a mindless, voiceless Hulk is way less fun than a Hulk with personality. They got closer to that personality in Avengers, but they've still stuck to the mindless rage beast for the most part. I think a Hulk movie where Hulk actually has a personality separate and often counter to Banner's would be much better received.

Yeah, the movie should have the Leader in it and he should do whatever the heck it was he did in the comic (within the first twelve issues, if I remember correctly) that basically made the Hulk non-feral. And then have some of the stuff about how he has contempt for Banner and doesn't want to change back into him (or can't because of the bullet trapped in him that will kill Banner. Or both. Or something).

Anyway, I'm sure Ruffalo could easily do a Hulk movie, so yes. It's not like Edward Norton is coming back or something.

The Hulk was so well received in Avengers is because he had character. Basically We need to see Hulk beings as much of a character as Banner. He needs to talk to people and interact with them. Hell he should argue with Banner. This silent hulk that only comes out when crazy stuff goes down needs to end. Hulk should come out to eat a damn pizza.

He may not be my first choice for the part of b banner, but raffalo did a good job and i am sold on him.

A lot of people say the Hulk films were bombs. Was that true? I thought they were both a box-office success, but just didn't gross as much as the others.

Neither of them were outright bombs, IMO, but the usual benchmark for breaking even is "double your production budget in gross." Neither of them made that, though they didn't fall that far short. So, I'd say they both qualify as fizzles.

"Bomb", IMO, should be reserved for movies like Green Lantern or ( sigh ) John Carter, where the movie only barely exceeds its budget in gross, if at all. Both of them probably lost their studio at least 100M dollars.

Hulk with Black Widow & Hawkeye in same movie might work if they still interested in Blac Widow & Hawkeye other than Avengers sequel.

Iron Man, Thor and Captain America can do well without supporting. Hulk would be more fun if he is interracting with other hero. Eighter a new supporting hero or the ones won't get their movie might do good job.

If they do make a sequel they should bring back Sam Elliott as Thunderbolt Ross. I didn't care for Hurt.
