Should Mark Ruffalo play Hulk in Hulk 2?

Whatever. When they reboot the MCU they can just cast Sam Elliott in all the roles.

I saw avengers again last night. I really want to see ruffalo in his own tih movie. The guy deserves it.

i would be shocked if the powers that be decided (somehow) that Mark "just wouldn't be the right choice." Having said that - if you've seen his other work, you know this wasn't a lucky performance and clearly, if there were to be another movie. noone should doubt Mark won't be the reason if it doesn't make it at the box office.

I'm not against it, but I doubt there will be another Hulk movie.

100% NO. :down

I love Mark Ruffalo and truly believed he stole the show in Avengers. But this character does best in an ensemble film. The prior theatric releases have demonstrated that the Hulk in itself cannot sustain a solo film and with 2 attempts already out there, the audience isn't going to flock to theaters for a third chance.

Let him shine as a show-stealer for now...in the Avengers series and other cameos.

The Hulk is more than capable of another solo film. The only issue is letting the character branch out from the '60s and 70's incarnation. There is so much more to Hulk's history than the Savage Hulk. It would also set the stage for Banner being able to change into other Hulks for specific situations in future Avengers flicks.

I think the success of Mark Ruffalo in The Avengers movie was down to him picking up on the idea that Bruce Banner should be portrayed as a character uncombfortable in his own skin. The little things like him playing with his hands alot and the occasional stutter seemed to have made him much more relatable to science fiction geeks like myself! He should definately continue playing Bruce Banner/The Hulk.

Yeah, if they do a solo film - I personally really loved the Norton film and was kinda miffed he didn't appear in Avengers, but Ruffalo played the part so well (and differently) that it didn't bother me. I'd be happy to see him in his own film.

Agree with you there 100%

Those 2 attempts were pre-Avengers though. I think after the success of the Avengers, the Hulk has gained more of an audience(as well as Thor and Captain America).

Eh, I've seen enough of Hulk in solo movies. The only way I think it can work is if you make if the most action packed super hero movie ever made. I feel general audiences could care less about Banner. You kind of sit in the movie like , just bring on hulk. If you can set up a good story and have hulk just go insane that'ss the only way a solo movie can work.

Mark is Banner, for some reason his performance in Avengers cemented him as the perfect Banner

Feige says Hulk can carry his own movie but they want to see how Avengers 2 does first.

When the time comes for a solo RuffaHulk movie, get Tim Blake Nelson back and do The Leader.

I wouldn't mind Nelson, at the same time if he were recast I wouldn't mind that either, just be sure to bring in Roth to voice abomy.

Tim Blake Nelson was one of the best parts of TIH, I really hope Marvel brings him back for something.

I am not totally sold on ruffalo. I think he did a good job in avengers so i will fall on the side of giving him a shot at hulk 2.

He mentioned a Planet/World War Hulk movie. I can't even imagine the budget for something like that, but the idea of those in live-action make me drool.

I'd love to see an Avengers #3 or #4 with a team of retooled Avengers taking on Hulk & The Warbound, although I'd probably go broke buying the movie merch. :woot:

did you know their making a live aicton hulk tv show it going for 2012 now 2013 or 2014 i hadn't head much whos goingto play it

Has there been anymore word on a possible Hulk film?

Kind of not really.

I loved Planet Hulk as an animated film (and comic) but I think the idea of that in live action would be a little alienating for me (cough..pun).

I still think a good earth-set sequel would be great.
