In these movies, Rogue was never kicked out of her real home, she left of her own accord so technically, she does have a place to go if she left. Her mother looked in the first movie like she wanted to comfort her after what happened but rogue flipped.

The school is for mutants only for a reason, they are young kids with amazing powers who are a danger to themselves and others. They are there to learn to control themselves while at the same time get a decent education which would not be possible for many if they were not at the mansion. There are many mutants who would need Rogues place at the school now more than she does, she doesnt need to learn control, she's capable of living a normal life with her family who would have welcomed her back considering her mother was supposed to have made an appearance in the film.

This is a bad analogy but in context of the real world it would be like a disabled child going to a special school but then being cured of their disability, there is no need for them to go to that special school anymore where the education is catered for their needs because they can finally go to a public school to focus primarily on their education
It's not as bad an analogy as you might think; one could argue that Rogue did view mutation-hers especially-as a disability to be overcome, & if at all possible gotten rid of. I remember a deleted scene from X1 in which she was talking to Storm, & she initially thought that was the purpose of the facility-to "cure" mutants.

Good points, but consider this...

-How do you define REAL home? If the other place was truly her REAL home, why didn't she go back there? Home is where the heart is. And I believe the school serves more as a HOME to mutants than a school. Even though she's not supposed to be a mutant anymore, she should still be welcome in her own home

- If we go strictly by what the movie represents, then there is now evidence that Rogue is taking up valuable space. Storm seems to welcome Angel in as if this is not a problem. But if there were such an issue, then I could see your scenario being more relevant.

- Actually your example is a good one. And quite often because 'special' needs individuals come to call such a facility their home, they DO stay on even after there is no longer anything else for them to learn. But if they do leave, it's usually never because they are FORCED to. The bottom line is, this should be a choice (unless, there are extenuating circumstances like the one you alluded to earlier).
