Think about this.

They wrote Die Another Day, The World Is Not Enough, Plunkett & Macleane and even Johnny English.

And BTW, CR also had bad script.

So should they come back for sequels?

I think no. There should be new screenwriters, who could make the structure and storytelling much better.

CR also had bad script in your opinion

Well if they can get Paul Haggis back then yeh why not

Yes Paul Haggis should :oldrazz: .
Casino Royale was fantastic!!!

Well, so long as Martin Campbell comes back, i couldn't care less who writes the bloody script. :o

everyone from Casino Royale who's character didn't die in CR should come back!

unfortunately, we would never be that fortunate.

CASINO ROYALE had a very solid script. But personally, I think that was due most to Haggis' work and the fact that it had a Fleming novel to go off of.

I don't want P&W to return. I can see bad things happening with BOND 22, seeing as it will be almost entirely original, and left to their own devices it should be a sham. Though, I suppose as long as EON brings in a sort of Paul Haggis to clean everything up (perhaps Tom Stoppard, as was rumored), it should be okay. Still, I'd prefer entirely new, high-caliber writers for BOND 22.

I think Richard Maibum (sp?) proved that the writer is a useless person in the Bond franchise. The man wrote pretty much every Bond film from Dr. No to License to Kill. Yet, we saw how different each film, era, and actor were.

The producers, director, and actor pretty much do whatever the hell they want. The writer just provides whatever it is they want. You know?

It's not like in other movies where the writer is part of the creative process. I honestly doubt the writers have any say.

As long as the next script is as good as CR, I don't care who does it. I just want a good story and continuity. If they can get Paul Haggis again, then awesome.

I wanna see more Bond films like Casino Royale.

I'd love to see a collaboration between Michael France (who wrote the fanatastic first draft of GE) and Paul Haggis....

...but it looks like we're getting P&W again, although I'm confindent that if their draft if **** Craig will call them on it (Haggis' draft was what brought Craig in) and they'll find someone competent.

As long as the script reaches the same level of sophistication as Casino Royale (for a Bond movie, a very good script), I don't really care who writes it.

It should be written by whoever wrote the last one, whether that be P&W and then polished by Haggis, or just Haggis on his own, which I suspect.

the writer is a useless person in the Bond franchise.

It's funny you should say that, considering a script wasn't even finished when they began filming Tomorrow Never Dies

EON: "Hey Roger, yea we don't have a finished script for you right now... but just throw Pierce infront of the screen, they'll eat it up!"

It's going to be difficult to top CR, and Purvis and Wade have never been very good scriptwriters to begin with. I think they should definitely keep Haggis and hire new scriptwriters. But who?

Well all 3 are back and that includes Haggis to fix things up. Hell, Haggis was even offered the director's job. Hope he directs Bond 23.
