I haven't watched The Hulk in a couple months, but I don't remember him killing any people. I could be wrong, however.
Should the Hulk kill people in the new movie?

Hell no! Not innocent people atleast. Not bystanders.

Hulk isn't a murderer.

Now if it's someone who was hurting him (like an army soilder) is killed by Hulk, fine. But not like brutally. Brutally for 100% bad people only.:cmad::up:

The Hulk wouldnt, and shouldnt kill people in a film that is based on him. That simply would not be good business my friend. Now The Abomination on the other hand .....

The Abomination should only be killed if the Hulk is in grave danger himself, and not before the Hulk decides to spare him. It shouldn't be in him to just coldheartedly kill someone like that. It should only be to a really evil individual, and only in the heat of the moment. I've always seen the Hulk to have a Spideyeseque code when it comes to restraint- force when necessary (which it often is, and in barrels) but not to the point where he becomes what people stereotype him to be.

Abomi should kill people, not Hulk..not intentionally anyway

He sure killed the crap out of them dogs, though, didn't he? Maybe if he does end a life, they can do it as it was done in Batman Begins, "I'm not going to kill you, but I don't have to save you, either." Or sumpin to that effect.
Edit: Found the actual quote on IMDB:
I'm not going to kill you... but i don't have to save you.

I hope he won't for the sake of the movie...
Who's gonna emphatize with a giant green killer... (it's hard enought to relate to a giant green hero...)
But if we compare to Ultimates destruction game (which i fear can be the movie tone-wise), Hulk as no problem throwing people around like they are straws, and he gives them the same punchs as the tank... well they seems obviously not dead in the game... but if done in the movie it wouldn't work...

they said they want us to have sympathy for the Hulk, then he probably won't hurt any"innocent"

(but take care, maybe Ultimate Hulk is around the corner.....:o)

He cant kill innocent people, thats for damn sure. But he needs to kill alot of people, and he needs to do things bruce will regret.

He never did in the 616 comics, and Bruce has mentioned in the books (events before Planet Hulk aside) that if he did he'd do himself in from the knowledge. Nothing about the first movie or the TV series tells me that this incarnation would do any differently. There can be plenty of property damage and people hurt, but for him to kill people en masse would send him off the deep end.

i hope you are talking about people who want to do him garm, then i agree, but he still shouldnt try to kill them, just that when he defends, they end up getting hurt and dieing from their injuries

Absolutely not. It takes away from the point of the character. Maybe the government can try to pin something on him, but no way should he be killing anybody because subconsciously Banner still is inside of him somewhere. And although I have my own opinions of the TV show, one thing they did get right was the idea that The Hulk won't kill because Banner won't kill...

yeah but see his power is more curse than gift to bruce, and he needs to be looking for a cure. he needs a motive for that.

Turning into a giant green man who destroys most of the places Bruce tries to inhabit and who puts innocent people in danger isn't enough of a reason to want to get cured?

He's already got plenty of motives......his blood pressure goes up and he destroys a city, the Army is chasing him and wants to put him in a hole for the rest of his life, he's afraid to get close to the woman he loves, constantly buying new clothes is expensive, can't watch a football game for fear of destroying stadium........

The hulk rarely kills directly. When you tear up a city, someone is going to get hurt. But 616 wise i dont think he has a high death count(ultimate version does though)

Well, the Ultimate version of Hulk (save their version of Banner) sucks, so we can safely overlook that.

This Hulk is said to be more of a Hero, so the answer is obviously no.

The Ultimates could get away with The Hulk actually murdering thousands of people, simply because the story itself was not a Hulk centered story. And due of that, could present him as being more unsympathetic than what we would have otherwise seen.

Perhaps in teh comics and maybe in a film that wasn't orientated for children.
but here, nah...

Yeah, Ultimate Hulk is just a psycho for the most part. The original Hulk himself, although having somewhat of a childlike mind, only attacks those that seem to be threatening him. If he doesn't perceive you as a threat, he doesn't mess with you.
