Yes

Well 3D doesn't really change the story and I'm not really into it. The only films that I watched that had good 3D were Harry Potter: Order of the Phoenix and Resident Evil: Afterlife. The 3D of Transformers 3 and Deathly Hallows Part 2 didn't really wow but to be honest, the cinematic experience is better, it looks more real, sometimes its like you're in the scene, the glasses just irritates me.

It would also help the box-office performance of The Wolverine. I think if X-Men: First Class was in 3D theaters, it would have grossed more than $60 million in its U.S. opening weekend just like Thor and Captain America and possibly outgrossed the first X-Men film in America. 3D tickets are like way expensive, its almost double the price of a 2D cinema ticket. Plus it would be cool to finally see a X-Men film in 3D.

No. It's a stupid gimmick, and I think Americans are beginning to tire of it.

Sure, while it still makes extra money.

No 3D.

Let's not aim this movie towards the children, please. That's how they ruined the last one.

No. A thousand times no. :argh:

3D is such a scam.

I still yes, it would totally help the box-office numbers of the Wolverine.

NO!!!!!

3d Sucks, it is the worst thing for cinema since I don't know what, the 3d effects are never that good, with the odd exception, most of the time parts of the movie dont get filtered properly and you still see that blurry crap, and the whole movie looks darker and washed out.

Please hollywood. No More 3d!

Then you can just watch it in 2d :whatever:

Geeez studio releases their films in 3D to earn more money. I want The Wolverine to be in 3d simply because I want it to have a bigger gross in the box-office.

No 3D. Just IMAX. IMAX actually enhances the experience. 3D does nothing but detract. Chris Nolan has been doing his movies in IMAX as has JJ Abrams. Love 'em for it.

Most of us are more concerned that it be a better movie than watching its box office grosses inflated because of pointless gimmick.

3D doesn't equal a good movie. Hell, it rarely makes a good movie better.

I know but c'mon look at domestic Box-office performance of XFC. 3D would totally help The Wolverine's box-office performance.

Not being in 3D is not the reason X-Men First Class didn't do as well at the box office. It was the first movie after 2 lousy movies, it didn't have any of the main cast from the earlier films (no, you can't count the Wolverine cameo), and the main cast of the new movie were mostly unknown.

3D accounted for less than half of the total box office receipts for most of the movies released domestically this summer. Audiences are tiring of paying more for lousy 3D conversions. It's become more of a hindrance than a benefit, and people aren't going to show up in droves if The Wolverine tries to do the same thing.

Just make a good movie.

It shouldn't. That being said I would enjoy and extremely gimmicky teaser with Wolvie's claws coming out of the screen and making an X, I'm not even close to kidding.

I don't need Wolverine's claws poking me in the face, so I'm going to say no. I'd rather they focus on making a solid, character driven movie like with XFC.

NO.

3D sucks and that includes overratedtar, ehm, Avatar.

I still yes, it would totally help the box-office numbers of the Wolverine.

And since when is that the totally only thing that matters for a good movie? You do realise that more & more people are seeing 3D in 2D?

Its not about a movie being good, its about the movie getting more money. Big difference.

But everyone should be more concerned about the movie being good than whether or not it's in 3D.

Huge difference.

^ I think psylockolussus understands this, he just wants to make sure that the legacy of a good movie is not tarnished by some B.O (or B.S) statistics.
