Should there be a Silent Hill sequel?

I think Doom and Resident Evil were both far more entertaining. Silent Hill was an incoherant mess.

All three of those films are incoherent messes.

Exhibit A in the case of "Why You Are A *****ebag".

Quick questionare:

Horrofan cares you called him a ***** bag because:

(a) he's a kindly, sensitive soul
(b) *****bagitis killed his best friend
(c) he doesn't because he thinks you're a nobody

(hint- its not a or b)

And...Exhibit B.

Keep going, buddy. You're only hurting yorself here. And by the way, you're the one who started this just because you were mad about the ****ing Iron Man thread you started here. Sorry things didn't work out for you. Now go away.

I love Radha Mitchell, she needs to hit the big time soon.

It was not even remotely frightening, with lame creatures and special effects. Acting was mediocre.

Surely you've just descibed most horror films released ever.

BTW, I loved the first film. But they should only do a sequel if they try something very different such as using a man as a protaganist, or by having pyramid head as the main antagonist. Pyramid head should also get laid by the fit/nasty nurses.

Most at least tend to be mildly entertaining at worse.

Silent Hill was an endurace test. You know if you're in a room full of people where you can gauge the mood? Well, I know EVERYONE in the cinema I saw Hill in felt the same as me....''when's it finally going to end so I can go home?''

I highly doubt that, unless youve gained some telepathic and empathic ability.

The constant sighing, groaning and bored, lifeless faces and looks at watches pretty much was a give away

You shouldve stopped looking in that mirror then.

What was boring?

I love the Silent Hill movie, I wouldn't mind seeing a sequel.

They have mirrors in american cinemas now? Because we sure don't in the uk.

I'd only want a sequel if Sean Bean were the main character this time.

If you've played Silent Hill II Sean Bean kind of looks like main character of that game.

So if a sequel is ever made they could go with the storyline of Silent Hill II by having his wife contact him from Silent Hill, which means more Pyramid Head and a much deeper story.

Hell yah, sign me up for that.

While movies based on games were nothing to look forward to, the Silent Hill movie is the best movie based on a game.

The movie captured the spirit of the games perfectly. If you play the games, the games themselves aren't easy to understand. You find out a little about the town as you progress, and each game has it's own story that you discover pieces of. The stories have never been presented in a "simple to follow and understand nature". Although, you find what happened to Alessa in the movie in a similar fashion in the first game.

If they decide to do a sequel, Gans has to direct it. Anyone else will **** it up

i woudn't mind seeing a sequel. the first one was okay, the ending was craptastic, though.

the good thing about this series is that they can do complete restarts everytime without it being weird.
