or otherwise known as the classic look featured in most of the comics, cartoons ... ect.in other words, the Donner suit... no thanks.

lol, hey, dude, do some research on the person you're about to insult...and you are what, the person who is the expert on superman ?![]()

the donnor suit IS the comic book suit.![]()
It seems some people are too ******ed to understand basic facts.
Superman's comic book costume was replicated perfectly by Donnor.
Red is Red.
Brown is not red.
You my friend, need to understand basic facts.
firstly, THE DONNOR SUIT = EXACTLY SAME AS COMIC BOOK SUIT.
And as for these "oh the red is too bright", and "this won't work in today's movies". I've never heard such bollocks from a bunch of morons in my entire life.

You hate the Donner suit !?! ? all right, now I understand ... you are insane.

exactly... that's why I didn't like the color correction Singer used... the original suit color palette that Singer used was great... it looked beautiful... the red was maybe on the tad too dark, but still it looked great:Personnally, at the time, I didn't find it too bright. Now, sure it may be too bright, but I remember, on the contrary, during the 90es I found D.Cain's suit too dark. Well, too dark, but I like it a lot anyway.
I don't mind playing with the panel of colors : D.Cain's was dark blue and bright beauuuuutiful red. and Singer is just the contrary bright blue with dark red. Which, in the end, suits me fine. Donner's was bright blue and bright red. I think it is very difficult to satisfy everybody, but me ? as long as the suit is a kind of blue and a kind of red, I'm OK. I have my tastes but at least they respect the original idea and don't transform the suit into a-leather-blue-and-no-cape-because-it-sucks kind of things.

eh, kinda... I prefer the blue to be a lighter shade and the red to be a little bit darker, though.BTW, kakarot, what do you think of the Alex Ross suit ? It seems to me it is what you are looking for, isn't it ? (I'm talking mainlyabout the colors.).
