Man I wish the WB would turn THIS into the new JLA movie!

Or even Teen Titans! Would be a neat idea to spin off Smallville with these actors playing the roles since Singerman robbed us of a possible Smallville/Superman flick maybe this could be a way to make the Smallville fans happy with a movie!

here's just the basic, simple updates, of bright red, lower neck....
EDITED:darken the red a bit

[BLACKOUT]bwt: WTF, guy's calm your selfs, it was just a simple manip[/BLACKOUT]

now with all the neckline stuff, i was just think of different things you could do with it and thought,
what about a v neck LOL

I don't mind the lower neckline. But what I also want to see is the logo a bit bigger.

have I seen this before?

better yet, could you upload it to megaupload? I DLed something from rapidshare recently, and I'm still waiting for my hour to be up

oh dude... please upload this onto megaupload, or yousendit, or something... I wanna see it so bad now

Today, we can do better than the Donner suit... It doesn't have to be neon bright to get the point across.

in other words, the Donner suit... no thanks.

and you are what, the person who is the expert on superman ? :whatever: :whatever:

the donnor suit IS the comic book suit. :whatever:

It seems some people are too ******ed to understand basic facts.

Superman's comic book costume was replicated perfectly by Donnor.

Red is Red.

Brown is not red.

You my friend, need to understand basic facts.

firstly, THE DONNOR SUIT = EXACTLY SAME AS COMIC BOOK SUIT.

And as for these "oh the red is too bright", and "this won't work in today's movies". I've never heard such bollocks from a bunch of morons in my entire life. Talking as though you are experts on trends and styles. I don't give a goddamn toss what anyone thinks.
Red is Red. Superman's color is RED. BRIGHT RED. Unfortunately, only people with intelligence can understand this fact.
Morons however, think otherwise.

:whatever:

You act as though you are experts on the color of Red.

The FACT is. The Donnor Suit IS the exact same as the comic book suit.

Louise Mingenbach's costume IS NOT.

If you cannot acccept these facts, you need psychological help.

lol, hey, dude, do some research on the person you're about to insult...

I have always hated the suit that Singer created... ALWAYS... but I also hate the Donner suit. It was way too bright.

You hate the Donner suit !?! ? all right, now I understand ... you are insane.
Personnally, at the time, I didn't find it too bright. Now, sure it may be too bright, but I remember, on the contrary, during the 90es I found D.Cain's suit too dark. Well, too dark, but I like it a lot anyway.
I don't mind playing with the panel of colors : D.Cain's was dark blue and bright beauuuuutiful red. and Singer is just the contrary bright blue with dark red. Which, in the end, suits me fine. Donner's was bright blue and bright red. I think it is very difficult to satisfy everybody, but me ? as long as the suit is a kind of blue and a kind of red, I'm OK. I have my tastes but at least they respect the original idea and don't transform the suit into a-leather-blue-and-no-cape-because-it-sucks kind of things.
BTW, kakarot, what do you think of the Alex Ross suit ? It seems to me it is what you are looking for, isn't it ? (I'm talking mainlyabout the colors.).

exactly... that's why I didn't like the color correction Singer used... the original suit color palette that Singer used was great... it looked beautiful... the red was maybe on the tad too dark, but still it looked great:

but then he had to go and mess with it by giving it that god awful color correction

eh, kinda... I prefer the blue to be a lighter shade and the red to be a little bit darker, though.

I could make a manip if you'd like to see...

It is a Known FACT that the costume shown in Superman Returns is not Superman's. It has never been seen in the comics let alone on tv or film.

And Maroon has never been Superman's color, see example below for those who do not understand simple facts.
The unedited original on the left clearly displays a Maroon colored cape and shield. And it also displays a collar never before seen in any incarnation of Superman.
The modified picture on the right corrects these inadequacies.

if you wanna get technical color wise, it would of looked like this with the Donner colors...

and I NEVER wanna see it look like that ever again...

so I'll gladly stand by and say no to a donner suit copy... color wise, this one would do just fine:
