Sequels Should Venom Return??

The demand for Venom was high from the beginning, but Raimi still pursued his own interest and went ahead and wrote script for a petty thief, which eventually led to an average movie.

If only Raimi would have listened to the fans earlier, this mess could have been avoided. I mean come on, Sandman? Why not the Lizard They could have done two monster in one and got it over with.

Lizard and Venom have no place in the same movie.

^ Yeah, now that you mention it, it does seems like they would have posed a balanced threat to Spidey. Especially in terms of final battle, where Harry could have had an aerial battle with Vulture while Spidey fought Venom. But we got Giant-Sandy

haven't been here for a minute but just wanted to say you guys noticed in Spider-Man 3 Eddie Brock refered to himself as Edward Brock "Junior" correct?

Well since I see they went with the Eddie Brock look from the Ultimate Comics and since Eddie Brock Senior was Peter Parker's Father scientist partner in the Ultimate Comic version I say they should just throw the whole Venom stand alone picture out the frame and just focus Spider-Man 4 on Venom, Carnage as the villains. I would also want a cliffhanger of Lizard at the end and the death of Sandman. So this is my rundown of what I would like to see happen in Spider-Man 4 and remember I'm taking stuff from the old comics and the Ultimate Comics and this isn't in any order:

-Gwen Stacy die like she does in the comics except this time with Carnage in the picture (old comics)

-Capt stacy dies when Venom and Spider-Man fight on top the Daily Bugle and a big piece of concrete is about to land on a little kid and he pushes him out the way sacrificing his life being crushed by the concrete. (old comics)

-Dr. Connors speaks with Dr. Edward Brock Sr. and learns that Peter Parker's father was his scientist partner before Peter's father passed. He learns about the sybmiote and it's weakness to vibration. Also learns about the cure to cancer and its ability of rejuvenation. Dr. Connors still has the small sample of the sybmiote from the 3rd movies and tries to develop a serum using reptile DNA and the rejuvenation cells from the sybmiote to grow his arm back out. (Enter the Lizard cliffhanger)

-Dr. Connor's introduces Peter to Edward Brock Sr. later Edward Brock Sr. learns how Peter really is.

-(Now this is a far stretch) The a different sample of the symbiote long ago was discovered by Peter's & Eddie's fathers and discovered that it can cure cancer. From news reports and the Daily Bugle E. Brock Sr. goes to the last battle scene and collects whatever was left of the symbiote. E. Brock Sr. has a lab where he has the equipment and technology to bring back his son and send him after Spider-Man once the procedure was over.

-Sandman makes a short reapperance but dies trying to save his daughter. Following Venom back to his father's lab he listens in and learns the symbiote can cure his daughter. Sandman breaks in on both of them and steals the serum that cures cancer. Venom and Sandman battle it out in the lab causing a sample of the symbiote to escape (Enter Carnage) Sandman wins and races to save his daughter. Ed Brock Sr. tells his son to chase after him. The new Venom is now more powerful able to use his tendrils and has green acid like saliva that runs off his long tongue.

-Sandman fails to save his daugther as his daughter is dying so is Sandman in a battle with Venom. Venom bites Sandman and the acid eats away at the sand. She slowly goes flatline in the hospital as her father disenegrates (old comics)

-Carnage battles Venom and Spider-Man at different times. At first Carnage and Venom battle as to who gets to kill Spider-Man. Later since the symbiote is capable of revealing the memories from previous hosts Carnage takes Gwen and Mary Jane hostage. Towards the end Peter reveals to Dr. Connors who he is and needs his help to develop a machine that emmits soundwaves to weaken the symbiote. At the end Carnage tries to kill Gwen and Spider-Man tries to save her with his webbing and kills her accidentally doing so. Venom sees this and now its an all out brawl everyone for themselves. Dr. Connors and Spider-Man save the day with the machine Dr. Connors developed putting both Cletus Cassidy and Eddie Brock Jr. in custody.

sorry for the long read but just some thoughts for a Spider-Man 4 flick. Any constructive criticism is welcomed.

Your idea about Eddie Brock Senior is nothing new.

As for the rest it just seems like its just rehashing the previous movie. Basically its Spider-Man 3 part 2

They dropped the ball with venom and unfortunately bringing him back would further detriment the series.

my solution is to start spiderman with a nightmare sequence involving a fight with venom , that would be cool and give us at least a little more venom enjoyment.

It would be pretty impossible to have Venom using Brock for the fact he is dead. Why not move on with some of the other symbiote pocessed characters that could bind from the original black symbiote, like the other few venoms. Afterall, a small piece or two could have survived the explosion which overwhelmed the first venom. The one in Connor's lab should be saved for Carnage if he was ever done, maybe as a villain for this film.

Agreed, I do not see anyone being able to fix the mess that Raimi did with Venom. Someone down the line would have to make a reboot of the Spiderman movie and you know that it wont happen.
