Okay, i'm just going to state that I don't want to start a big debate or argument that spans for 500 pages. I'm simply giving input;
You know, even if Venom does return, how are they going to explain it? I mean Eddie and the alien symbiote were both destroyed in the explosion. Could regeneration be a good path to go? I was watching discovery channel the other day, there was a documentary about jellyfish. Needless to say, these creatures have abilities which I found to be quite astounding.
What my point is, if they want regeneration to be the cause of Venom's return, then it isn't completely out of the realm of reality. Plus, the symbiote is an alien, it doesn't have to be limited to our understanding. Lets just say someway, somehow the symbiote retained Eddie Brocks genetic makeup and regenerates him too.
I'm more then aware this is grasping for straws (Considering Venom was vaporized in the explosion), and my humble opinion is, I don't want to see Venom return in the current Spider-Man franchise. This stands to any villain, as others have said the movies are a different medium then comic books. I'm primarily posting this for the return of Venom in the so called Venom movie (And that's a big IF).
So just remember, I know a lot of people will disagree with me and some are rather hostile, just thought I could thrown in my 2 cents.
