Sequels Should Venom Return??

Raimi has ruined symbiote for these continuations, Venom or any other has to return in another take on Spider-Man for which I, and probably others, would want an unbiased director. No offense to Raimi, he gave us really well done SM-1-2, his SM-3 was just a fun ride nothing more.

An alien being should be able to get better reaction than that, even in a fictional world.

In Raimi's world, aliens are slow. ESPECIALLY black symbiotes.

LOL

Symbiotes ruined themselves. They aren't characters, they're cheap plot devices.

In my world, the fourth installment of Spider-Man would include the showdown and friction between Venom and Spidey we all know and love.

But Sony never listens to my ideas so make way for Lizard in SM4 as the franchise will prolly take a dive. :/

Venom is a dive, let's move on for gripe sake.

Aaah, look at the little disgruntled Venom fan, don't be mad. :woot:

.....when did we move from Sam Raimi to Venom?

Sure, Spider-Man 3 pissed me off, like it did to A LOT of people, but I've moved on, lol.

And so shall we.

So...let's?

"Sam Raimi sucks at life"

:whatever:

To be brutally honest, I only want Venom to return to this franchise if Sam Raimi isn't the director for the next three movies.

Evil Dead...good movies....Spider-Man...Raimi could've done a lot better with the movies, so, yah...Raimi probably got too "Hollywood" when he could finally make a big-budget movie.

I heard before on here that on certain people's dvds eddie brock's skeleton wasn't shown in the explosion. Well on my parent's huge high definition tv there is no skeleton shown in the explosion. I've watched it over and over again. I know what it looked like, because I saw it in the theatre twice.

I swear on everything on my dvd when brock jumps into the symbiote as peter throws the pumpkin bomb at the symbiote and it explodes there is no skeleton.

I think they might have changed this on purpose for the sake of leaving open the possiblity of bringing Venom back.

Not that I'm saying he should come back.

^^^^
Except on my DVD (and a lot of others as well) the skeleton is indeed there.

At the end of # 4 if they are going to make more
He should run into spidey but have his face showing and smile

Okay, i'm just going to state that I don't want to start a big debate or argument that spans for 500 pages. I'm simply giving input;

You know, even if Venom does return, how are they going to explain it? I mean Eddie and the alien symbiote were both destroyed in the explosion. Could regeneration be a good path to go? I was watching discovery channel the other day, there was a documentary about jellyfish. Needless to say, these creatures have abilities which I found to be quite astounding.

What my point is, if they want regeneration to be the cause of Venom's return, then it isn't completely out of the realm of reality. Plus, the symbiote is an alien, it doesn't have to be limited to our understanding. Lets just say someway, somehow the symbiote retained Eddie Brocks genetic makeup and regenerates him too.

I'm more then aware this is grasping for straws (Considering Venom was vaporized in the explosion), and my humble opinion is, I don't want to see Venom return in the current Spider-Man franchise. This stands to any villain, as others have said the movies are a different medium then comic books. I'm primarily posting this for the return of Venom in the so called Venom movie (And that's a big IF).

So just remember, I know a lot of people will disagree with me and some are rather hostile, just thought I could thrown in my 2 cents.

I completley agree with you, venom4life. I have always thought that the Symbiote regenerating itself along with Brock might work. Not only that, but it's also a really cool way to return.

Also, adding to my original post that there doesn't seem to be anything left after the explosion. One could argue that a piece went flying off-scree somewhere, and then that way it could regenerate itself from that portion. And although Connors had a sample of the creature, he got it prior to Eddie and the symbiote binding to each other. Like I said, these are "possibilities" if one is to wonder how Venom could return for the supposed Venom movie. But like I said, it's grasping for straws.

Watching it again yesterday, parker turned his head as the bomb went off. So Brock could of jump in.. reformed with the symbiote then the impact of the explosion could of sent Venom flying a far distance. Then when peter turns back its just a small part of the symbiote caught on fire!!

Good lord, have mercy.....

The audience didn't turn their heads. We saw the explosion, we saw Brock's skeleton IN the explosion. He's dead. Talk about clutching at straws here.
