Siege

Maybe the New Avengers should be regular Avenger's X-Force....except without the killing.

Regular Avengers has all of the classic characters (Cap, IM, Thor, Quicksilver, Witch, etc...) & they go on big adventures, while New Avengers would have more street-level heroes (Cage, Spidey, Iron Fist, etc...) & go on secret missions.

Or New Avengers can just be titled "Heroes for Hire". Bendis would like that.
the only classic Avenger I would say New has is Ms. Marvel. She's the only one I would put on Mighty as she seems more suited for their type of team. In the context of Dark Reign, it makes sense that she's over there but in the grand scheme of things, they are kinda beneath her

"New Avengers...Now with more Wolverine"

Since Bendis is writing, the heroes will inevitably fail and it'll be up to his favorite obscure character of the week to save the day.

Haha, that would suck. Osborn kicks Cap, Thor, and Iron Man's ass, but luckily, in comes Noh-Varr to save the day!

Man, that really would suck. :csad:

Its going to happen. You know its going to happen because that's what ALWAYS happens. :cmad:

:( , we need a weeping emoticon.

Please, he's clearly setting up jessica jones to take down all the cabal at once. If a crazy ***** isn't the problem then a crazy ***** will inevitably be the solution (have none of you ever read a bendis comic?).

Ask and ye shall receive: :waa:

Oh well, Coipel is drawing Siege so it'll at least be pretty. It'll be nice to see his art on Thor again too, since we'll be knee-deep in Billy Tan on Thor's own comic by then. :barf:

This isn't going to be anywhere near as epic as it should be.

Man, I remember when Bendis dragged out that Daisy chick TWICE to save the day (Secret War, New Avengers). I mean, is it impossible for him to end a story using the characters he started with? Its BASIC storytelling for Christ's sake.

Throg and Batroc the Leaper will join the Cabal.

Never. Throg is all hero. :argh:

He'll be like Songbird or Noh-Varr. He used to be a true frog, but once he realizes just how froggy these other frog bastards are, he'll work from the inside to bring them down.

I would be interested in this if Bendis wasn't writing it.I haven't read anything by him since NA #1.

I commented basically the same thing (only I am still a bit excited) on Newsarama. One dude agreed with me and a couple others posted basically the same thing.

But at least it'll sell well.

eh I'll just skip it and then read about it on the hype.:awesome:

At least it's only going to be a 4-issue mini-series. I'm glad Bendis isn't going to feel the need to drag this out like he did the Secret Invasion series, considering how much build up he'll have already done by the time this drops.

And it'll be cool to see all 3 together again. Now if somebody can finally fix M-Day, then the Marvel Universe will start feeling normal again.

Apparently, Bendis specifically kept it short so each issue would have a lot of action.

Maybe he's learned that 6-8 issues for an event to showcase his silly dialogue and decompressed storytelling where nothing happens for half of the series is more of a detriment than a help?

Hopefully. But I doubt it. I think we'll still get a ton of stuff crammed into the last issue with relatively low-key issues before it.

by action I'm sure he means people saying the same line back and forth but with different puncuation.
