I've been told that there's actually an "extremist christian cult" in the Silent Hill game universe, called "The Order," which did indeed burn witches throughout the town's history. If this is true, I must admit I'm a lot less bothered by the film's third and final act.

Hmmm. Judging by wikipedia, the people who told me this are NOT correct. "The Order" has never had any relationship to an extreme christian cult.

I strongly prefer the theatrical cut. I thought the Director's Cut screwed up some important story points. Your mileage may vary.

saw the movie last night. really good. best video game movie i've seen. even better than resident evil.

Saw the movie tonight .... was pretty good. Better than I expected actually. I really liked the Dahlia character. The actress that portrayed her was really good. I liked her voice alot. And it was kinda cool to see the Borg Queen in the movie Playing yet another

The posters for the movie, on the movie site, are cool as well. I dont know why, but I liked the nurses as well

It's better when you see them and their spasmadic movements in the movie.....especially when they start attacking things.
