Simpsons styled action cartoon?

What if the creators of the Simpsons and Futurama did a cartoon in the style of these two cartoon shows (in terms of character design) but made it an action show with very little comedy?
Something along the lines of Justice League Unlimited action or 24 level action.

Would the public accept it? Would you yourself like it?

I mean, the artistic concept of how they draw their people wouldn't work imo.

The style of Futurama alone may work, but both combine...that's like Homer being skinny and not eating donuts.

WOW, such hate. I don't think it is that dumb of an idea.
Maybe no comedy wouldn't be right.
What if it was like Shawn of the Dead or Hot Fuzz, action and comedy.

And it wouldn't be combined styles, it would be along the lines of those two shows. With the simple shapes like that, no jaw, big round eyes. Very similar style (maybe human colored skin). New character, perhaps a superhero cartoon or a cop cartoon.
