Since Marvel owns the rights to Blade, Punisher, and Ghost Rider

I am pretty certain Marvel will know the cinematic appeal of a character like GR.

And what exactly is that? They're filled up for Phase 3 and there are a number of other new potential properties that could be introduced in Phase 4. Right now they have a multitude of new characters coming out so they don't need to make Ghost Rider.

Again that's not just my opinion; that's Kevin Feige's stance. The only reason they got GR back is because his last movie sucked, so the studio's resources would be better served with different properties.

you make that from scratch? Nice

I'm pretty sure he just edited a piece of concept art from Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance.

This one to be precise:

Oh my yes. She's fun and sassy

The problem with making it happen is how often she's in her She-Hulk form. As of now, the CGI would be inordinately expensive. That's one of the reasons we don't get more Hulk on screen (that and it means less Ruffalo as Banner). Add to that She-Hulk's series would probably play better on TV considering her storyline and her being lawyer and the expense is even less feasible on a TV or Netflix budget.

G'day,

Yeah you'r right of course but I wonder if a modern make-up TV She-Hulk would work. Paint the actress green, muscle her up and use some camera tricks to make her look 7 foot tall.

A Blade reboot I hope it happens

I want to see Denzel as Frank Castle, comics be damned.
It pretty much already happened - Man on Fire.

I always felt that movie was a better Punisher flick than those that came before and after it.

He'd be a solid choice, though.

Am I the only one who would be repulsed by a She-hulk movie? I don't think I ever want to see that.

Mel Gibson he could have played Frank Castle/The Punisher especially if it was like the early 2000s or late 1990s then Mel Gibson would have been perfect as Frank Castle

No doubt, but Man on Fire's tone and execution was more in line with what I'd expect from The Punisher.

The Equalizer was a bit more cliche.

Man on Fire and The Equalizer are why I want to see him in the role

Denzel Washington as Frank Castle/The Punisher I can't really see it but also The Punisher's character is meant to be white so for that reason alone I can't see Denzel getting the role but I could see him in the MCU eventually

Is Punisher meant to be white or does he just happen to be white?

Well I thought that Denzel would make a great Punisher after seeing The Equalizer. And Frank is actually Italian if I remember correctly. Think Castle is short for Castiglione. Other than that I don't think his race really plays that much of a part with the character myself

I think Blade, Ghost Rider, and Punisher will show up in a major capacity come Phase 4.

I think Daredevil and Doctor Strange will open doors for those characters to appear, in terms of the magical side the Marvel U, as well as the darker and more sinister side of the MU.

Marvel should make one movie with all 3 using their Marvel Knights division. Make it R rated.
Make Punisher & Blade the focus of the film, teamup and kill a bunch of vampires & wise guys throughout the movie, while trying to figure out why the vampires & wiseguys are trying to usher a demonic god. Have Ghostrider as a supporting character who comes in and helps them throughout the film when needed or overwhelmed by super powered vampires/wiseguys.
Have all 3 fighting in the climax versus some fiery, superpowered, demonic, vampire, god like thingy. Wash, rinse, & repeat for part 2 & part 3 of the trilogy.

:oldrazz:

And I agree with others about Man on Fire & The Equalizer. I left both movies thinking that's what I want to see if Punisher ever gets another shot at his own film. I say let Denzel play him. He's an A-Lister that would bring lots of attention to the character. Just keep him as Frank Castle and be done with it......
