It still same show, people who want to end might not be the people who liked it to begin with. Its gonna end soon anyways, so it's a moot point.

Amen. Hallelujah.

Actually Im starting to enjoy the show. I dont take it seriously and watch it just for laughs. Its quite hysterical....its really hard to take it seriously anyways.

Its like watching Plan 9 from Outer Space...... or Superman III

Wouldnt say its that bad, but since the first season I watched for simple entertainment purposes

Well I can live with that.....at least you arent watching it for Chloe...urgghghhgh

Tom Welling in the Returns suit in the last episode of Season 5...just wishful thinking ;)

No need to add insult to injury....

You don't like the returns suit?

A lot of Smallville fans on SHH wouldn't like it very much...plus, it adds insult by having Welling wear 'Rouths suit'.

From what I've readh on SHH, they want the Reeve suit....

Yeah, I agree the traditional Superman suit would better fit Welling but it wouldn't be in continuity with Returns. So I doubt the movie and show will have anything to do with each other other then the obvious.

Or Superman: The Movie, Superman II, and Superman IV.

:)

I'll give you IV, but not STM and Superman 2, those were actually good films.

lol they're just movies, 2 hour movies, they can't be better than 5+ years of TV.

im willing to bet money i'll be more satisfied in what i'll get in those 2 hours compared to the 90 plus hours of Roswell meets Superboy.

Sure they can. I'm sure many would prefer a Superman movie with better action, romance, story, etc. than a boring tv show that is alot like Dawson's Creek, The O.C., & other boring teen drama show than your typical Superman's story. :yellow:

Hah, maybe if we weren't talking about Smallville, which has done diddly squat in those 5 years, and has been inconsistent as hell throughout.

We'll have to wait and see for that, it's not June 30th yet.

I'd like to keep them seperate. In many ways I like that SV is its own show seperate from things we know of Superman. It allows Superman to be properly told on the big screen

I totally understand your point but that's not really happening. In the course of a year (actually less; we still have 4 eppies left) we have had: a FOS that resembles the STM and SRs (from what we've seen so far), Pa Kent croaking while Clark was a teen, via heart failure; a Clark that made a diamond out of coal, a phantom zone that has the same look as the movies.

There's a several other similarities that I've noticed between the movies and the show but I've been studying all day and I'm beat. :( Those were the major ones though!

Yes they can..easily, considering those years were tainted with mainly bad episodes and horrible writing.

Its like saying the Adam West Batman series will always be better than Batman Begins because they had so many episodes and BB was 2 hours

Thats pretty ******ed logic.

lol  Yes. Thats the key. They havent nailed this character right in a live action medium since the first Donner flick, and even that was cheesy in a precrisis way.

This is like the first time ever they have the oppotunity to do things right, so theres alot of potential here. That potential alone has me interested in this movie and hoping it will be great.

I dont like the reality of the animated STAS/JLU being the best interpretation of Supes to date. Its finally time for a live action medium to step up.

The continuity on SR is that the Reeve suit precedes the Routh suit, as it is in vague history of the previous two films.
