Single Issue-Must Haves

If DC would let Bendis do a Bats/DD comic that would be awesome.

Hell to both Bendis and Miller! It would have to be Brubaker!!!

Brubaker and Rucka. I'd buy it so hard, you don't even know.

OMG This!

If you never read a Spidey story again, this should be it. Good call Blader!

Hey!!! :cmad: :cmad: :cmad:

I called this issue in the 2nd or 3rd post... I just didn't show the picture...

My personal Must-Haves... (though it's a two-parter... :csad: )

Absolutely, Absolutley love this issue!! this is where i fell in love with Dan Slott's writing. every writer who ever wrote a retcon needs to read this book.

Jean puts Sabertooth in his place and its not because of her powers.

The big hair, bad uniform era.

The X-Men from above was an awesome run. I always liked comics as a kid, but those, and Miller's DD almost made me crazy for them.

This thread is AWESOME. Keep it up.

It's the Death of Jean deWolff issue. One of the greatest comic deaths ever.

Here's one that has my favorite Spidey reaction, when he hears the villains name.....

thought of some more. this is fun.

x-men25.jpg

when Magneto was essentially killing Logan, i was just like "holy crap this is intense". and that was just amplified by the dialogue between Mags and Xavier.

Spidey kicks the crap out of Taskmaster!

i usually don't care for Xavier stories, but this was some powerful stuff.

Joss Whedon's Cyclops shows just how badass he is.

I know there's a part one to this, but this issue is the real classic. Some of the most insane, balls-to-the-wall badass Punisher action you'll ever read.

Ya know, the guy who made this damn thread hasn't given a single issue as a Must Have. Why make a thread and not contribute a dang thing to it?

Haha I'm sorry. All i have is an incredibly large spider-man collection, and besides those, my main purpose was to expand it by buying "must have" issues from all of your reccomendations :yay:

But for it to be finally official, I'll have to reccomend:
The Uncanny X-men #414

This might have not been that much of an impact, but I found it a really great single told story. North Star who is just joining the X-men tries to save this boy who is just begining to gain his his new powers of exploding, which he can not control.

This was my first X-men comic of any kind and is a stand out from the rest ive read.

YAH! Great to see a Must-Have from you, Jester.

Ok, my Must-Have of the day (which I usually skip on the weekends; but, since I'm here...). I thought it time to include an X-Men comic of my own, and in the 80's, this was one that really hit me hard from the opening pages where two young kids get killed by an angry mob. This didn't involve any supervillians or sentinels; it was just focused on one man's quest at the extermination of all mutants, using the word of God as his tool and brainwashing his flock to his distorted views.

Bendis? Miller seems the obvious choice for that teamup.

:thing: :doom: :thing:
**** that. I'm tired of Miller. It would read the exact same as EVERYTHING he does now.

Bats would be narrating something ******ed like, "This city is a woman. I woman that is mine. I woman that drinks too much and then I take advantage of her."

And DD would be in a fight scene and narrating stupid **** like, "I feel bone and meat give way to my fist as I fight for my city. Because my city is like a woman. A woman with an std, and I'm the medication to get rid of those nasty sores."

Because everything Frank Miller does now is EXACTLY THE SAME.

Wanna know how the Ghost Rider would do against the Big 3? Well here you go. With Angel thrown in for good measure.

Great one shot!

Must-Have of the Day, and still pretty dang cheap to get! Hot off the pages of Annihilation and Guardians of the Galaxy, this is the first appearance of Rocket Raccoon!

This is my all-time favorite issue of Deadpool. DP gets sent back in time to a Spidey issue written by Stan Lee and uses his image inducer thing to make himself look like Peter Parker. This issue is so awesome. The scenes where he's making fun of Harry Osborn's hair have the best DP dialogue EVER.

Must-Have of the Day, featuring the very first appearance of the New Warriors:
