Firstly saw the movie tonight, good film i really liked it. But at the end what actually happened to abomination? i understand Hulk seemed to be about to kill him until betty interviened, But Abomination was still alive, what's gonna happen to him? It's not like they can pop him in prison.

The other thing i read over on IMDB (i know i know) is that in the background when Hulk and Abomination are fighting some one swings betwwen them is it daredevil? Is it Spidey? Is it a crock of bull? anyone else notice this, because i never.

That's been talked about in the easter eggs thread. I believe it's been brought up that it's actually a man that abomination tossed.

Thats what i thought.

and Indiana Jones(the poster after my first post) i mean what happend to Abomination after the film, he wasstill alive. Not like they can put him in prison, so what is meant to happen to him?

I think Abomination came to his senses and took off and got away. That's why General Ross was so down in the bar at the exact end and why Tony Stark mentioned a 'loss' for him (Ross). Both Hulk and Abomination are out there in the world somewhere and he's kinda responsible for them since he kinda created them. Again, this makes perfect sense as to why Ross was so down in the bar.

Yeah. It's pretty open ended. I never thought of it like that. Abomination probably escaped and he could be in cahoots with Sterns now.

and I've seen this scene a bunch of times and you hear a screaming sound, so I think it was just some random guy that Abom tosses in the air.

I was under the impression he was sulking in the bar because he's finally gotten a taste of what he created. both with Blonsky and with Banner. And He can't really justify pursuing Bruce now that he's saved his life.

I have a feeling SHEILD would have a way of containing Blonsky. Someone in this newly formed Marvel U must have the ingenuity to create cells for superhumans.

Well, SHIELD is only really beginning if I'm correct and so they may not necesarily be ready to contain superhumans yet, at least not with the likings of Hulk and Abomination. A perfect example is that the movie showed the military had nothing that could stop Hulk and contain him. The canons almost did it but then failed with Hulk's increase in strength. So, it seems like they're not quite ready yet with superhumans in the Hulk and Abomination category.

Going back to Ross at the end of the movie in the bar, I still feel that he was way to dejected if Abomination was captured. Plus Stark clearly mentioned that he (Ross) lost and Ross's response was one which indicated a 'total' loss. So Hulk and Abomination are out there IMO. And perhaps Sterns and Abomination will team up as TNC said a couple of posts up.

i just saw the movie again in the theater today and i didnt notice and person or whatever. at what exact part is it?

I think SHIELD can very well contain the Abomination. There isn't any evidence to suggest they can't contain him.

Nick Fury announces to Stark that he isn't the only hero in the world, suggesting SHIELD has plenty of files.
Also, the SHIELD agent in Iron Man tells Tony about his situation not being his "first rodeo"

We'll have to see what happens

I believe the novel states that Tony Stark and SHIELD built a specialized prison to lock up Abomination.

In the novel it says that Abomination is locked away in "the vault".

Yep, the Vault is the Marvel prison for super villains, I would assume that is where he is at. At least until he escapes for TIH2 :)

That would be pretty cool if they could show him escaping from the vault, you could get some easter eggs of other super villains stuck there.

Escape with The Wrecking Crew:bh:

Remember in early Hulk stories Banner(when he changed during night time) would lock himself in that gigantic underground cell/vault. Also they could just keep Blonsky sedated.

Abomination would be half dead anyway. Hulk choked him and ripped out his bone meaning Abomination should lose mobility in his arm.

I know little of the Hulk comics, is Abomination like hulk does he change back and forth to Blonsky or is he Abomination forever?

my question is... Why did Betty stop him from finishing him off?

lol, i thought that too, i think hulk wanted to kill him and would have but in reality the studio probably needed a way to stop Hulk from killing him so they can bring him back. I'm not sure but am i right in thinking Abomination is Hulks most famous Villian?(aside from Ross)

Abomination was already beat. The fight was already over.

Its like you getting in a fight to defend your girl and you already beat the guy to a bloody pulp.

unless your girl happens to have a dark side...9 times outta 10, your girl is eventually gonna step in and tell you to stop.

Which is what Betty did.
