The Amazing Spider-Man Songs for the new franchise

Whoever thinks rock music doesn't belong in superhero movies, go watch Watchmen. Whether you liked the movie or not, Zack Snyder did a wonderful job with the music. The opening credits with Bob Dylan's "The Times They are A-Changin" was brilliant.

I don't mind rock music in a super hero movie, but Watchmen is one of the worst examples I've ever seen. There were so many distracting song choices in that film. The soundtrack was hit or miss but when it missed, boy did it miss. There were so many times I was just taken out of the scene because I was like "99 Red Balloons? Is this really the right scene to playing that?"

I personally prefer SM1's Soundtrack. I think "What We're All About" by Sum 41 is the best song from the trilogy.

I'd like to see them homage SM1 by putting "Hero" by Skillet on the soundtrack, as it's perfect for a superhero movie and like the Kroeger/Scott song, it's also named "Hero"

Thats seriously the only one I'd say was "out of place". Unforgettable was great during Comedian's death, Times They Are A-Changin was great for the credits, Hallelujah set the over-the top cheesey aspect that the sex scene was suppose to be. All Along The Watchtower got the blood pumping for the climatic encounter with Ozzy. Sounds of Silence was perfect for the funeral.

Hallelujah was cringe worthy for me. Then again that whole scene was cringe worthy for me.

I did like some of the choices (Unforgettable and Times They are A-Changin were both well done, don't remember the All Along the Watchtower scene though) but a soundtrack should blend into and work with the scene and Watchmen had a lot of song choices that just felt distracting. I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.

I've always felt that the sex scene was kinda supposed to be cringe-worthy, but whatever, Not trying to be a dick. agree to disagree :cwink:
