Ever hear a song or had a song and you really liked it, but you haven't been able to listen to it for some reason?

Weird Al's "Stop Draggin' My Car Around" is one of mine. Parody of "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around".
I used to have the tape with the song when I was little, but the tape is gone somewhere at my dad's house. I haven't heard the song in quite a long time and I really liked it lol. I've searched for it on Youtube but no one has uploaded a video with the song.

I guess I'll have to break down and order the CD off the internet for like $10 even though it's just that one song.:o

What are some of your songs you like but can't listen to or find anymore?

That one song from the movie Short Circuit ¨We need a hero, He´s gotta be strong, He´s gotta be fast, And he´s gotta be larger than life¨ lyrics go something like that

It's called Holding Out for A Hero by Bonnie Tyler

It was in Shrek 2.

There is this one song that played on one of the TV spots for the series premiere of The O.C.
Damn, that is one of the songs that I've never gotten a chance to hear again, or remember the words to. I can hum the song, but I can't remember the words, find the song on any of the O.C. soundtracks, or find any old O.C. TV spots.

This song is like this one Jay-Z song with an Middle Eastern beat, but some of the guys here told me the name of it. I now have the song. (Thanks guys.)

I heard a duet years ago that made me stop in my tracks but I never found out who sang it and never heard it again.

The Irene Cara song from D.C. Cab (1983).

I love that song. :csad:

I heard some song on a commercial for some new show on FOX, but I don't know the name of the song or the show, but I really like the song.

"I want to buy the world a coke". I love that song/commercial. :(

Way back in the 90s Enigma released this song with this hot chick, the chorus went something like "Sade dit moi, Sade donne moi"

it had an awesome beat and pipes with Gregorian chants. actually now that i am thinking of it I'm going to look for it on Youtube.

Also way back in the 90s in Germany or someplace weird like it, there was this really weird cross dressing group called Army of Lovers they were hilarious/cool. I bet they'd be quite famous on the Internet if they came out today.

A lot of the deeper cuts on my classic rock radio station. I like the song, but I can't place the name or the band and they never give it.

"Going to the chapel and we're goooooonna get ma-a-aried!"

Has anyone heard of a reggae song using the music from Madonna's "Holiday?"

Anyone have Weird Al's Stop Draggin' My Car Around they can upload to Youtube or something?

Tunak Tunak Tan by Dahler Mehndi.

That song is a Godsend.

There's a song, it's hard to describe without the notes, but it has like native american chanting or something... maybe around the 80s or 90s... i don't know what it is, or whether i'll ever hear it again... it's a mainstream song, cuz it has english in it, but i don't know any of the words...

When I was a kid I got the tape of "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?" and there was a song on it called "Feeling Fine" by the 3 Brave Woodsmen. No matter where I look, I simply cannot find it anywhere. :(

Thank you!!!!! It's been so long I just couldn't for the life of me remember the name of the song but that was it! She was so frikkin hot lol

When I was growing up we had a K-Tel record from the 70's in the house. It was called Looney Tunes (or Toons, don't remember which). My mom would let us play (with) it because it was already so badly scratched up that it wasn't worth re-recording. That record had some weird and interesting stuff on it (perhaps thats why I've developed the personality I have)... anywho, on that record was a song called "Dinner with Drac" that I haven't been able to find ANYWHERE.

I always associate that song with Footloose (if it's a movie involving dancing made in the last 20 years I have probably seen it).
