I didn't know they kept the same VA for Tails as in the games. I figured it would be a celebrity like Knuckles.

Also don't google Tails cause I saw things I didn't need to.

I don't know how many films this series intends to have, but since the second film looks to be a mix of Sonic 2 and 3, I'd be surprised if they went straight to Shadow in a hypothetical third film and not Chaos or even Metal Sonic.

Can't believe you all want these Sonic movies to ditch Earth before the films introduce the greatest character second to Big the Cat. Of course I'm talking about Chris Thorndyke.

I loved watching Sonic-X when I was younger. Going back to watch it as an adult... whoo boy, just one of those things beat left as a childhood memory. That theme song still pops in my head though haha. And I wanna say the later episodes that covered the Shadow saga were a bit better.

I'd love to see Shadow, Rogue, Espio, Metal Sonic, Silver the Hedgehog... if the movies continue haha. Isn't there a new Sonic series coming to Netflix too?

Definitely not zero now that we've seen a Chaos Emerald (Maybe Master Emerald?). Though I do think they'll probably focus the finale more on Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles finally all teaming up. Wouldn't be surprised if super Sonic gets saved for film 3.

Yeah, it's on Amazon Prime... and I missed so many episodes growing up, because the way Fox Kids aired the series, so I figured, "why not?" Ehhhhh lol... But I just couldn't make it through the whole thing man. The voices for some characters were just a little too annoying for adult me to handle lol. Which is fine, this is definitely a series aimed for kids. The OVA that featured Metal Sonic was a little bit more adult-ish, but not that much from my recollection.

Knuckles looks awesome. I'm glad they redid the look of the first movie, so the franchise didn't flop with the weird ugly Sonic.

The 4Kids cast definitely got better over time, I'll sy that. At least by the time Unleashed and especially Sonic and the Black Knight came out, they'd grown into the roles. At least Mike Pollock was definitely the standout. There's a reason Sega kept him around starting with Sonic Colors and onward and recast everyone else.

Overall outside of Mike Pollock, and Jason Griffin's Shadow, I was not a fan of the 4Kids cast. Though while his Knuckles was pretty meh, Dan Green's Mephiles was beyond words. Plus Rouge sounded like she was a 35 year old cougar

Too me the only Sonic TV shows that have not aged poorly were Sonic SATAM and Sonic Boom.

Yea sonic x is ok. I heard the season where they introduced dark sonic and villains made up for the series is where it’s really good. I’m in the minority but I never liked Jaleel white as the voice of sonic so those shows were hit and miss for me. I always thought Ryan Drummond did a great voice

Yeah, everyone seems to really like the trailer. Makes me happy.

This trailer alone was more video-gamey than the entire first movie, Sonic on the rooftops at night in what I'm guessing is an homage to the opening of Adventure, the introduction of the Chaos Emeralds, snowboarding while being chased by robots, the Tornado piloted by Tails getting shot at by a giant robot, ancient ruins full of death traps, running on water, Knuckles being manipulated by Robotnik, etc. If they can maintain its quality as an actual movie while adding all these video game elements it'll easily be better than the first film.
