Sons of Anarchy - Part 1

Tig I think is still numb from all that has happened to him lately. :(

Tig's just been pushed and pushed and he's reached the point where nothing matters.

You fellas pretty much covered everything already. Wayne's tirade at Gemma was great and that damn snow globe was crazy tough. I liked seeing the guy from Community at the end, I hope he sticks around for a while...I can't help but feel he might be law FBI or something.

Clay's definitely gone this season. Season 5 is about Jax learning to be the president. The promo for next week shows Jax confronting Clay about undermining his leadership.

Once all the truth about everything comes out, I don't think any of the patches besides the dirty nomads and maybe "my nose is so far up Clay's ass" Juice will care that Clay dies.

If they stick to the plan then what the hell is gonna happen for the final two seasons when Clay is gone?

It's not like Clay is the only believable villain on the show, they could fill the void pretty easily IMO.

Also I imagine Jax would come face to face with someone that is his equal and could push Jax and the club to the brink, in the coming seasons to fill the feeling of club tension that Clay brings to the table.

I'm just guessing btw, either way it would be interesting if they ax Clay this season.

'Sons of Anarchy' scoop: 'Terriers' actor to guest star as ... EXCLUSIVE FIRST LOOK
by Lynette Rice

A friend of FX will join the already impressive roster of guest stars on Sons of Anarchy this season.

Donal Logue — who last appeared in the network’s series Terriers — will play a brilliant and dangerous U.S. Marshal named Lee Toric who is forced into retirement because of his history of violence. He’ll appear in the drama’s final three episodes before it wraps its current season on Dec. 4.
“Lucky 2B part of amazing finish on this seasons’s Sons of Anarchy [Creator Kurt Sutter] pushing TV boundaries-shockingly awesome stuff coming down pike,”

Here’s an exclusive first look of Logue as Toric:

He looks like Opie.

A couple of people have mentioned Juice sucking up to Clay, but I don't think it's that. Juice doesn't seem like the brown nosing type, he's just naive and trusting. Clay is part of the old guard and Juice is a true believer, he hasn't been exposed to the dirty politics of the MC. Juice is just following Clay and doing what he tells him to do out of a sense of duty and respect, not because he's chosen sides -I don't think Juice is even aware there are sides.

Donal Logue? Nice

I too miss Terriers a lot. I mustve rewatched the whole series 5 times

Pope seems to have this certain respect for Jax. Sometimes when they talk, it's almost as if he's putting Jax up on game.

Yeah Pope is kinda of Jax's mentor in a way.

That's the kinda vibe I've been getting as well
Same here. I just see him wanting to knowingly do anything to harm the club.

The wording was a nice touch... Surprised by Tig just offing the wife so easily

I also didn't realise that Carla was played by Smits' actual wife...

SH**!!!! I never realized they were married in real life!

EDIT:

I don't think they're married, they've just been together since the mid-80s. They're basically like Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell.

They are not going ax Clay til the last season.

I love that he is remaining bad til the very end, its unseen in many shows. Usually bad guys on tv shows like Ben Linus just end up becoming complicated characters and they lose their edge.

My bet is at the end of this season clay splits the club into two groups. I bet that in the final season Clay will pull similar things on jax that he did on john teller in order to reclaim the club.

The main focus of this season whether Jax will be a greedy president like clay was. Could all be bull but its my guess as to where the show is going.

Loved Damon Pope's Independent security contracts, first one to kill my killer gets 5 million dollars, fear protects me, greed ensures it.

another one of the shows great lines. last week clay said something like, don't worry it will all end in guiness and manhood when jax was fighting the Irish King.

I haven't been this excited about a show since lost.

I'm pretty sure he said manhugs. :woot:

Yeah, I think Clay will survive until the very end. He is Jax' main nemesis.

The show wouldn't be the same without him. :(

Ive heard this season is 8 episodes only, please tell me thats bull.
