Gemma really thinks that she is keeping things together? And needs to be around? Only thing she is good at is keeping secrets and getting people killed. Though I still can't bring myself to completely hate her due to Katey Sagal being Katey Sagal.

You would think after ALL of the lies Jax has been told throughout this series, you would think he would be able to see through some of them better and be more cautious before going after someone especially when it comes to his mothers word when she has only been truthful like once. He doesn't even ask the guy, why? did you? he just goes straight in for the torture.

I am not here for this new sheriff in town boinking Irish whatshisname, it just happened REALLY fast it seems with those two. Sure it harkens back to the first season with them being having an understanding with the popo but just doesn't do anything to me.

Ok so that scene wasn't the one that pissed off TPTC but it is still popular.

And I loved this scene last season

7 years in basically 2 weeks, not bad. Very somber finale, left me feeling nothing inside. And I went through the entire series with only 2 spoilers and that was Gemma/Jax's deaths.

I'm glad they had the balls to kill off Clay last season since like after season 3 I kept on thinking how are they going to keep him around the entire series?

I've been having a series of mini marathons over the last few weeks through Netflix and it's hitting me (more) of how much fun the guys used to have in earlier seasons. You know, compared to the last two seasons of constant gutpunches and enduring misery.

Also, it's weird to watch the opening credits, go through the names and at the end realize that 8 out of 9 names are dead. Jesus Christ, Sutter. Such a good run though. Damn, that was good TV.

Season 4 is when the show started to shift. Prior to that the club was fairly tight, and Gemma and Tara were getting close at the end of season 3. Then the letters from Belfast came and ruined everything. Clay became a psycho, Tara stopped trusting Gemma and Clay entirely, Gemma started making a full fledged power play to ruin Jaxs chances of getting out, drugs got more prevalent in the club, the IRA, the CIA, the Cartel, the US District Attorney screwing over Juice leading to the Club doubting his loyalty, Tara's hand was shattered, Tig doubts himself and blames himself for Clays shooting leading him to murder Pope's daughter, Oppie shoots Clay etc. It all just went to complete **** in season 4. The rest of the show was Jax trying to pick up the pieces and failing miserably at it one step at a time.

But yeah season 1-3 have a diffrent vibe. Its a lot more lighthearted.

It really is amazing watching S4 and seeing damn near every plot point knock down a new set of dominoes leading to everyone's destruction. Lincoln Potter and Clay Morrow can pretty much split the overall damage 50/50. Gemma really f***ed things up toward the end, but by that point so much damage had already been done...

True, the ball was already rolling, but early Season 6 (maybe mid-Season 5) is when I pretty much any idea this thing would end neatly or with any semblance of good fortune toward the characters involved. Between Clay's greed, the IRA, the Cartel and USDA (God, Potter raised hell in a short amount of time), it was over. I guess I'd harbored some hope of Jax pulling this thing through in a somewhat clean fashion. As it turns out, not so much.

...but it was soooooooo good.
