Lol for real though, I've never heard anything about this but isn't that something Shakespeare would do as well in his work? It sounds familiar like I've heard of some people's work before having random basically background characters have a much bigger symbolic meaning like this. That is really cool if it's true though, I love little hidden messages n stuff like that

I agree. Juice's smile wasn't a grin of glee or delight, it was a nervous kind of "Hey that worked out, we're buds now right? Right?". It was pretty clear he felt really ****** about betraying Clay, Juice even tried to warn him before the knock on the door.

Gemma gave her money once outside a store and there was a kind of semi-sorta religious conversation there, then later Gemma saw her outside of and then later in a church. Jax at the cemetary when Donna was being buried. It was the things she said and where she said them that led me to believe she is the personification of God. Heck, I think she was even in Belfast one episode.

I just read a post mortem that Sutter did for S5. Donal Logue is locked up for 7 or 8 eps next year as the main baddie I suppose. He's still hoping to have Jimmy Smits back but it's not set in stone as far as whether he'll be available or not. Same goes for Drea DeMatteo, she has a pilot of her own she's shooting, so if that get's picked up she may not be available. Sutter plans on ending things in S7, he really wants to avoid going over that mark. The entire thing is posted on CBR.com in the Spinoff section.

I might be wrong but it seems to me that she WAS there only because I have this memory of it cementing in my mind that she doesn't belong simply to Charming, She shows up all over, like saying God is all over and trying to watch over the Sons or at least try to help them not go so far off the path. Something like that anyhow,

See to me it was more like a smile born of a hatred that is now growing. Like he is going to hate Jax now for manipulating him even though he was partly privy to the plan. Like he feels used and not in a good way. That was my take on it. The smile didn't quite reach his eyes, you know? He looked ticked off.

The Shield ran 7 seasons as well, hopefully three times is the charm and after SOA Sutter will produce (or work on) another awesome crime show.

SOA and The Shield definitely share some things, but they're not strictly set in the same universe. The clearest evidence of this is that many actors from The Shield have appeared playing different characters, or more so; that The Shield was shown playing on a TV during SOA.

I'd wouldn't mind seeing Sutter take a crack at another organized crime show, or perhaps go the route of The Wire and follow both cops and bad guys. Returning to L.A might be neat, hopefully he sticks with the fictional location theme ala Farmington and Charming.

Yes, I know. This is why I said "SOA and The Shield definitely share some things...". Several gangs including the Biz-Lats and the One-Niners have either appeared or been mentioned during SOA. But for my money there's more evidence to suggest they're not set in the same universe. The actors playing different characters aside, the fact The Shield appeared as a TV show within the SOA universe pretty much throws the shared-universe theory out the window.

With all the talk of The Shield/SOA crossover, I would love if Michael Chiklis was given a part in this somewhere. He definitely has a powerful presence and I would to see him and Hunnam going at it.

I wonder if the Irish will protect Clay or if Clay joins or makes some kind of deal with the Aryans in prison. But yeah, I don't see Clay staying in jail. I see him as the final antagonist of the show.

I wonder where Sutter is taking us. So many directions to go.

Regarding the homeless woman, this is what IMDB's Sons of Anarchy FAQ has to say...

The Homeless Woman has appeared on Sons Of Anarchy five times. The first time is when Gemma approaches her and gives her some money during season 1. She appears again in the season 1 finale after Jax finds out that Tig and Clay were Jax went on a bender and wound up falling asleep in the graveyard where his father was buried. When he wakes up, he gives the blanket he used back to the same homeless woman before going to funeral. In season 2, the homeless woman appears twice: once when Gemma was waiting for Unser outside of a church after Gemma had been Gemma speaks to the homeless woman asking if she knew her, the homeless woman replied "Everyone knows me.". and before that when Gemma is waiting outside the shrink's office, the homeless woman is already there as if waiting to see the shrik herself, but when the shrink comes out to the waiting room, she calls Gemma not even acknowledging that the homeless woman is there. In season 3; when Jax is in Belfast following the husband and wife who had . While he is following them, the husband is seen giving some money to a homeless person who was asleep on the ground, if one looks closely, it's the homeless woman from Charming. In season 4, the homeless woman appears once again when Jax, Tara and the boys are on a picnic trip quite a ways from Charming. Jax sees her right before an attempt to is made. She appears again in the finale of Season 5, Jax sees her "petting" a dog doll in a garbage bin and continues to go with a confused look.

Kurt Sutter has received a ridiculous amount of fan questions during his WTFSutter video blog regarding the homeless woman. The first few times he answered the questions he simply said "The homeless woman is who she is and represents what she represents." He further went on to say that he had no intention of explaining her for more than what the audience sees. He wants fans to make up their own interpretation of what she represents. Is she a guardian angel? Is she a ghost? Is she just a homeless woman with a lot of frequent flier miles? To put it simply; the audience sees her for what she is. More recently Kurt Sutter has just started saying "The Homeless Woman is Jesus Christ." though he seems to be saying this sarcastically, likely due to getting sick of answering the question.

It's weird that I never caught it honestly. I remember every instance vividly and while in the first two seasons I was always like "Oh, there's the homeless lady again" after that I just never gave it a second thought. They do this all the time in movies and tv though, remember Owen from Natural Born Killers? I just love stuff like this.

If it was a guy, I'd call it representing J.T.'s ghost, in the same way that Hamlet sees his father's ghost, just with a slightly different spin on it here.

That said, it could still be a slightly different spin on it here, in that J.T.'s ghost is being represented as a woman, but unless we're going with indicating that he whined like a woman, I don't see that working out so well.
