too me that didn't sound like doc ock is going to be in the game. I hope he is.

So Ock is working with the Walker Sloan guy across the timeline to mold it in his image I'm guessing. Knowing Ock, he'd probably betray the guy as soon as he starts doing something he doesn't like.

Final boss, maybe?

Ock as the final boss would be great.Him being the mastermind sounds good.

I doubt he'd be the final boss. Him working with Parker seems like a very odd thing to begin with.

When Sloan crosses over, he creates Alchemax early, and Peter becomes an employee. We don't know why Peter is working with him in the first place, but we know why Peter is working for Alchemax and I can think of a million reasons why Peter is working with him anyway.

I'm referring to the fact that Doc Ock should be in prison or something. Unless Ock is "reformed".

That was one of my reasons. Or Sloan could have broken Ock out of jail and has him secretly employed.

I'm stoked Ock is going to be in this. I want an epic tentacle filled boss fight.

:otto:

Indeed. That would be something classic Ock would do and I'm hoping that's what happened here.

The way Octavius is mentioned in this article, I hope it's not a typo or anything. Would love to have an appearance by him.

Well... knowing Ock, he'd only work with spider-man to stop the other villain because Ock wants to kill spider-man, not some other guy.

Or the other villain is an obstacle in Ock's path and he uses Spidey as a tool to help get rid of him.

The story needs some interesting twists and turns like that. The Shattered Dimensions storyline was very basic with no real twists.

Me too! I would also like to see Green Goblin. The absence of either Green Goblin or Hobgoblin felt like a tease with the goblin-like enemies in the game.

Yea, iv been wanting Osborn in a game for a long time now but I wouldn't want them to waste him as just another boss. Osborn needs to be THE boss in one of these games.

Agreed. Just imagine attacking him in the air, hitting him with swinging kicks, jumping on his glider, dodging razor-bats, pumpkin bombs, sparkle blasts, et cetera.

Oh totally, and that maniacal laugh taunting you? That woud be great. I just want a Spidey game where Osborns presence is felt throughout the entire game. I read a book awhile back called Goblin Moon and the whole thing featured the "is or isnt he" of Norman Osborn still being the Green Goblin and at the end it was revealed that he was still GG and everything that had happened throughout the book was his doing. Id like something along those lines to a degree. Have Osborn be present with a lot of stuff going on throughout the game with the final act being just a huge bad ass, thug out battle between Spidey and Goblin.

I'd love to see that. Green Goblin is really underused in Spider-Man games.

That's a great book.I suggest if anyone finds it they buy it.It's by Kurt Busiek.

So it's going to be finally a new game to respect Ock as the Master Planner?
But seriously, Osborn deserves a game he stars in as Spider-Man's arch nemesis, I even hope they make a game using his Iron Patriot armor

Heck, I'd even love to have Iron Patriot as the main villain in an Iron Man game, Norman became more interesting imo as the Patriot

As if having him be responsible for almost all bad things that happened in Peter's life wasn't enough already, the point where he became the villain for pretty much everyone was overkill.

Which is why they need to bring him back as Parkers greatest nemesis. This isnt the comics. They dont have to follow any particular line of books.

This is why overusing Venom in games as a villain just sucks, plainly does
If they make a Spider-Man NOIR bonus mode to play in another game, they should at least make Norman his worst villain, Shattered Dimensions got that right (along with too much wrong in that story)
