Why?
Thats a really stupid question. Ill let you figure it out on your own.
Why?
Never mind that, Jick was nice enough to answerThats a really stupid question. Ill let you figure it out on your own.
Question is...would this Maximum Carnage remake be multiplayer?
I know we're only talking about a hypothetical game, but since MC actually followed the comic book's story very closely (unlike Separation Anxiety, that crap), there are going to be many points in the plot (and game) where the playable characters (Spidey, Venom) won't be working together, and so there would be parts of the game where the game goes from multiplayer to single-player.
Anyhoo, I'd say if such a remake was done that all the "allies" be playable during their points in the game.
I forgot all about the multiplayer.
It's SA that has a multiplayer from start to finish. Well, maybe they could think of something.
I just don't want them to touch the soundtrack. Turtles in Time wasn't the same to me with that remixed soundtrack they made. The original was so much better and more fun.
Useless observation of the day: The spider emblem in Amazing Spidey looks A LOT like the one from Spec Spidey.
I got to play the Xbox version of the game at Comic-Con. The controls IMHO left something to be desired. Controls were a little rough and herky jerky.
"It started back then" with the Bugle pictured. J. Jonah Jameson final boss confirmed?
The story is actually giving some pretty high hopes about this. Seems pretty good. The "I'm a nosy Parker" made me chuckle in my head.
I can see how the controls left something to be desired, as they definitely needed some tuning in Shattered Dimensions.

I was thinking of that, too. Maybe Jameson is approached by Sloan to help him take out Spider-man. Or maybe Sloan goes back to the Bugle and uses it to his advantage. Or maybe the Bugle had nothing to do with it, maybe it was just used to show that it's the Amazing universe he's talking about.
I wonder if I should watch this as a cartoon series instead of playing it as a game, and I want to play a good new Spider-Man game so badIm not surprised. I feel the whole game is going to leave people with the feeling of "leaves much to be desired".
But god, everyone in that IGN video comes off as unlikeable. Yes even Stan Lee, every time he talks about video games it's just painful. I thought the same thing when all the SD interviews was in full gear, how uncharismatic and slightly unlikable everyone seemed. Doesn't mean they are, but still.
We will feel like Spider-Man in some stuff, he will cling to walls and swing from threads he shoots from wrist devicesI guarantee you the reviews will say a lot, but making you feel like Spider-Man wont be one of them, unless of course the line is "this game doesnt make you feel like Spider-Man"
Link to the website pleaseThe website design for this game is very lazy compared to SDs.

Heck of a huge difference there, no character bios, no show of 2099 Spidey...Here's SD's:
