So would I. Those PS1 games and Spider-Man 2 are the only Spidey games I would call great.

Shattered Dimensions was good. I'm still waiting to see or hear something about this game to stir a smidge of excitement from me.

Eh I'm fed up of symbiotes so I wouldn't really want a remake of the first PS1 game no matter how great it is. Part of its' charm is the old PS1-feel IMO.

However I'd enjoy a remake of Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro with freeroam. That could be very cool! But I'd still rather have new ideas than remaking old ones.

Haha, Dark Souls also drops the 4th and AC only a couple weeks later. No way this game pushes one of those off my list

Green Goblin especially. The last time we saw a classic style Green Goblin was Spider-Man: The Game. Why does Spider-Man's arch-enemy get so often shafted in the games in lieu of villains like Venom?

Its obviously because he's not as popular right now. If the Amazing Spider-Man does well and in the sequel they do Osborn and Goblin, then we might see him pop up more.

There won't be a good Spider-Man game until you use Osborn to his full potential. Until then, they'll all be looking WAY up at Arkham Asylum and Arkham City.
