I'll probably get this around Christmas or New Years, The main priority right now for me are Arkham City, Batman : Year One, Captain America on Blu-Ray and Avengers:EMH season 1 part 2 on dvd

Thats a lot of priorities. Lol. The sad thing is that since spiderman is such a big title the price will barely drop.
At my gamstop arkham asylum is like 35 bucks witll shattered dimensions in still around 50 bucks.

Ordered it off of Amazon so I could unlock the FF costume early. I'm curious to see some of the costumes that are available in the game. I think the addition of the FF, Morales, and "big time" suits are a great idea. Spidey's had so many looks over the years, it's nice to see them cover most of the bases. I've heard mention of the Ben Reilly costume for 2099, that's the Spider-Man-esque suit with the web shooters on the outside, and the half boots, correct? Can't wait to see that one in action.

Overall, I think it'll be a great game. I've got high hopes for it, seeing as how I absolutely loved "shattered dimensions" when it came out last year. I still play that game.

If the trade off for a great story which is what we've all been demanding is less villains I can live with it.Gameplay and story always come first.
I haven't been as demanding of a great story as you were
I think No. of villains can sometimes make gameplay more fun

^Gamestop had SD for $20 this past week.
That's nice. How much now?

I've got too many games to enjoy right now so I'll wait for a price drop on this before I pick it up. Lookiing forward to it though as I loved Shattered Dimensions.

Pick it up tomorrow SMH12

I may pick it up if this one was in a pack release along with Shattered Dimensions, much as I despise last year's game, I have it for PC, wouldn't mind having it on PS3 just to unlock all the extra costumes for EoT

I havent seen it either and i dnt have a link.
I found it on cbm and we cant post links here....

For those asking, I haven't beaten the game. At the moment, I just finished Act one. These graphics are incredible. I just realized that a lot of the movies are actually in-engine! And the transition to pre-rendered cut scenes are flawless. It keeps you immersed in the action.

I've purchased a few upgrades as well. The web slinging has become a lot of fun. It's faster and easier to control. Also, the locked combat moves definitely add a nice touch to the combat system.

The boss fights are also a lot of fun. Anti-Venom, in my opinion, was one of the more memorable boss fights in any Spider-Man game. The elements Beenox has put together is astounding. The musical score in this game is memorable. With a market like todays, that's hard to come by. Mainly because everyone tries to reproduce an orchestral movie like score.

While that is the case here, for this game it works. I have to go to work now. Another hour and a half went by quick! haha I've just been introduced to Black Cat. Looking forward to picking back up when I get home.

Also, Walker Sloan is a great villain.

I picked the game up last night and was trying to get the sound to work on my tv but it wasn't so I played the first 45 min with no sound and then today well I was sitting at work with nothing to do I decide to hook up my system to the tv and play with the sound and I'm having a good time. I think the game is pretty fun the only thing that turned my off so far was I was crawling around peters office and and spidy went into the wall for a few seconds, but otherwise Im having a good time with it.

Wtf happened to the marketing for this game? Honestly, there has been barely anything!

It's sad that the only marketing I've seen was just a quick blurb attached to another video game's commercial.

How does this compare to SD for those that are playing?

Gamefly shipped this to me so I should be getting it tomorrow. I was actually hoping for a couple of others games, but hopefully I can get into this one because Shatter Dimensions didn't do much for me.

It's better than SD in almost every imaginable. The story is great, the graphics are phenomenal. The voice acting is top notch. The combat while being and looking a lot like SD feels better. It is a really solid game and so far it is the best Spider-Man game I've ever played.

I've got a question about AV, in spoiler tags or pm, can anyone tell me what happens after the boss battle we see, what happens to him? Do we ever see him as Eddie Brock?

Wow, can't wait to get it then. Focusing on Driver: SF though at the moment :hehe:

Thats good to know. I loved SD but one thing htat bothered me was that it felt like 4 short game experiences pieced together to make up one. It felt like there wasnt enough as a result especially sicne it did jump around so much. Im looking forward to this for the tighter story and deeper experience with 2 as opposed to 4 characters.

How as the combat improved?

From the launch trailer;
Anti-Monster Ock
