It's possible that like in the Cartoon. The symbiote comes alive and they kind of fight at the Bell tower. Naked Peter vs. Symbiote. hehe

And then the symbiote falls, and Peter watches it. And then Eddie sees Peter.

Peter watches as Venom is born. Peter already knows what anger lies in Eddie. He knows that his emotions coupled with the symbiote would be disasterous.

I agree with you. Do you remember some of the toys coming out? There is one Venom toy that has a Symbiote that looks like a giant mouth. I think that Peter fights that then Brock sees him and Venom is born.

Brock doesn't have to do anything. The symbiot is attributed with an augmented ability, duplicating spidey's powers soley because it bonded with Pete. So, its the symbiot that powers Brock with the automatic no-how. Brock doesn't realy need to practise or test out his powers as some have suggested.

This is not Batman, where one has to learn his skills, it's given to Brock the second the symbiote bonds with him, thanks to Spidey's powers and skills.
