Three words: John Jonah Jameson. Search your feelings, people, you know it to be true.

I fell like JJJ is a hard one because J. K. Simmons was just perfect in the rule but I really hope we do get JJJ again its been to long sinces we had him. Off topic but I had no idea that Elizabeth Banks was Betty Brant in spiderman 1-3 just found that out. I guess I didn't recizine her with brown hair and being younger.

Just thought about something, what if Mysterio poses as Spider-Man while Peter is dead? Making a bad name for Spider-Man, it would also be a good way to introduce the Bugle and JJJ calling him a menace.

Oh oh love this idea. Yeah you could start the movie with mysterio posing has spiderman and have some stuff being shown of JJJ calling him a menace and then cut back to present time with the real spiderman/peter.

I thought one of the best things about HOMECOMING was the 'Marvel Team-Up' aspect with Iron Man guest starring [and Cap to a lesser degree]. Assuming that Marvel will continue this trend [as they did in Thor with the Hulk] who do we want to see show up in this one?

Feige denied it'll be Strange appearing. The current rumor is it'll be Fury

I think Cap could work in that capacity. Like he's less reliant on Tony post-I4, but he's bonded a little with Steve over that movie and talks to him for plain old-fashioned advice rather than actual assistance like previously with Tony.

So unless there's some massive coincidence that he just happens to be in London while filming's starting, I'd take this as confirmation.

That'd be the dream. But I'd love for Fury to take on a similar role in this flick a la ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN.

I feel like Smoove is whatever teacher they are bringing to London for the trip

Either J. Jonah Jameson or a chaperone on the London trip

My guess Smoove is either a teacher or Robbie Robinson.

If he is Robbie then I want either Hugh Laurie, Bob Odenkirk, John C. McGinley, or Nick Offerman. Of course, they could pull a surprise casting and get someone like Tom Hanks or Gary Oldman.

I still think Hanks is the best pick for Jameson. I just want the character back though.

really?

I want this movie to be its own thing. I don’t want it to spend too much time wrapping up plot points from Infinity War

I really enjoyed Homecoming but the only thing really keeping me excited about this is Gyllenhaal.

Never been a big fan of Mysterio but we'll see.

I just can't stand the supporting cast this Spidey has been given. If none of them appeared in Far From Home, I would be completely fine with it.

I'm sure my tune will change once we get some more info, footage, etc but yeah I dunno. Hopefully Peter matures too

Weirdly enough, after seeing "HAPPY!" on Netflix, I think Christopher Meloni would nail JJJ.

Gruff, gravelly, grumpy, animated, but still likeable.

I had such a vivid dream last night that Timothee Chalamet was cast as Alistair Smythe and I was hyped

Still hoping for that mofo as Harry and Bale as Norman. That **** would get my Spidey senses TINGLIN’

And I’m with you guys. I have no problem with a black JJJ, but I just wanted a bigger name. If they’re going with a black JJJ, the obvious choice was Cube without a doubt.

Jim Carrey could be cool but idk what’s going on with that dude lately, he seems to have had some sort of spiritual awakening. I’m thinking he would want a more cerebral role if he is to return to the comic book realm

Carrey was always my pick for Mysterio just based on how theatrical and over the top Mysterio can be. Plus, Jim has a great voice.

Jim Carrey could be a good Carnage. But I always wanted Vincent Cassel.
