I don't see that happening.

Just like this year when they had 3 movies they didn't advertise all three at once.


AM&W didn't get a teaser until the week of BP. IWs teaser wasn't out until Nov and then they basically did nothing until BP was out for 2 weeks.



Captain Marvel is the focus with 7month gap now. It is also their first female lead hero movie.



I think A4 will get a teaser in December and Spider-Man mid or late Feb. This move will be fine with not much advertising since Spider-Man will be in A4 where as AM&W were not. One of the credit scenes will likely set up this movie too.

I know I'm late but is bad titles and good movies just going to be a thing with Spide-Man now? They should name the next one Spide-Man Has a Hairy Butt, which will probably be on the level of The Dark Knight and Logan, and get Oscar buzz.

considering the fan anticipation for Avengers 4, sony almost doesn't even have to have any trailers until next spring. in that sense, they'll save some money on marketing. Though there should be a social media campaign for fans to build up awareness.

Just thought about something, what if Mysterio poses as Spider-Man while Peter is dead? Making a bad name for Spider-Man, it would also be a good way to introduce the Bugle and JJJ calling him a menace.

It's a Spider-Man movie. And it's post Avengers 4. You hardly need to build up awareness or anticipation for that.

Marvel tends to tease their next films. Remember, CW had a Spider-Man post credits tease. Since this is the 1st post-Avengers 4 film, I would expect an end credits tease with it as well. Likely the very end credits tease.

EXCLUSIVE: Sony Pictures has set J.B. Smoove to star in Spider-Man: Far from Home, sources said. Sony would not comment and nobody would divulge Smoove’s role but I’m told it is a lead in the ensemble. So far, he’s the first new cast member to be set beyond Jake Gyllenhaal, who is expected to play the villain Mysterio. Jon Watts is directing, and Tom Holland returns as the webslinger, with Michael Keaton, Zendaya and Marisa Tomei expected to reprise. The film is dated for July 5, 2019.

He was Peter's driving instructor in that ad for Homecoming....wait lead!? Is his driving instructor coming with him to Europe? LOL!

This dude is pretty funny on Curb so I'm sure he'll bring some big laughs to the film.

JB Smoove is not someone I would have thought of but I can see him as JJJ. It will be strange not seeing the traditional hair and mustache though. Can't see him pulling the look off.

As much as I want JJ, I don't think we are getting him. Peter hasn't exactly run into money issues in the MCU. I suppose if Stark truly is gone though, Peter and May could fall on hard times.
