Remember when Mysterio and Kraven were supposed to be both getting their own solo films developed by Sony over a year ago? I'm glad Marvel somehow took the Mysterio one off the table by getting him in this movie.

For now, he could tweak it into a new design later in the film. If it is the same suit throughout the film? Yeah that's a little disappointing.

Be nice if we could get this....

Lose the black bands and Stark-like lines on the "Homecoming" suit and give us that and we're good.

Kinda. Considering one of the biggest complaints about Homecoming was the way the CGI on the suit looked..

It didn't bother me. I couldn't care less if the suit is CGI or physical in any given scene.

They nearly did, but Sony wouldn't let them use the character in Black Panther.

Most likely cosplay. Cool design, really hope it turns into something like that one day, although not sure I'd want to have the Raimi honeycomb texture on the red parts. Vastly prefer that spider emblem to the one we currently have. It looks waaaay to tech-like at the moment.

That costume there looks looks like a blend of the two different suits from the Amazing films. Like the coloring is of Amazing 1, but it has the white eyes.

are they expected to significantly boost the budget for this 1?

Maybe it's wrong to compare to the previous films especially since Homecoming had a 175 million dollar budget. Though the 3rd Raimi film was like $250 which was the same for the 2 Amazing Spider-Man films.

I don't see why they'd significantly boost the budget. If anything, not having Robert Downey Jr. will likely lower the budget.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier had a budget of $177M and that had a pretty big scope. I think Marvel is pretty good at making movies on a budget that is modest for superhero blockbusters.

I think if the boost happen, it won't by much. $185M at most.
