Hmmm wow....some of the information is telling. The trailer description says a lot about the approach of the film...which I have to say, I really appreciate the direction they're moving the film & was devilishly hoping for that; however, I an very leery of the possible characterization of Quentin Beck, that I thoroughly think Spidey fan will ultimately be

torn by. I suspect a huge percentage of fans would hate the idea of such a thing...

screaming, that's not Beck. Although I think the character persona would pay homage to the comics; the suggestive being of the character may appear to do a complete disservice.
Neither less, let me step back for a second...at this point, I don't see May & Happy being an item

. Happy is a point man for Tony...a babysitter so to speak. With that said, he will obviously have to have some interaction with Peter's legal guardian. I don't see it being more than that, unless...….
"it's all part of the plan" Howard Payne(Dennis Hopper) "Speed". Happy's apparent stroll with May, at some event, has much to do about nothing, as it do, both of them keeping a keen eye on Peter for very different reasons, or in May's perspective, her concern for his well being.

Oh Boy, here we go, lets take a ride....as far as the alleged recruitment by Fury...well I have a very dicey, uncertain, suspicion about that; so, keep this heavily in mind.>>> The film supposedly is the launching pad for Phase4(which not only setup all the proceeding slate of films; but as well, the "theme", to a very different world, moving forward....picking up immediately after the events, that ultimately transpired in Avengers: Endgame. How refreshing is it, to not say A4 anymore? Anyway, I digress...Fiege

on a number of occasions, have said, "these final two films(CM & AE) will not only conclude 11years of stories; but, provide some structure for the next phase of stories, we wish to tell." Which many undoubtedly believe, will involve not only galactic god-like beings; but, extraterrestrial & dimensional beings as well. So, with that thought completely in mind & out the way, lets commence the speculations of what's going on here....before we actually see the 1st trailer....which is what we do here....

.
I suspect we will learn, in Captain Marvel, not only how Fury lost an eye; but also, the source of his

"Trust" issues. He is being informed by Carol(an alien in his eye)that two races of beings are here on Earth, seemingly, without humans knowledge. He is spoon fed the lie, that one is bad & the other is noble. You can just sense his trust issue will eventually get tossed out the window. I'm sure both he & Carol, will learn over time,

that is not the case. Later, as Fury return to an "altered reality" not an "alternate universe", at the end of AE; and, still retaining knowledge of the events from CA:WS...he himself become very leery about the people around him, in this new altered reality. I suspect something from AE will tip him off, things are not what they appear, that leads him to be more cautious & more prepared, than before CA:WS. Not knowing exactly what heroes to trust, in this altered reality, he roll the dice on one he thinks he can control...a young, trusting, Peter Parker. Get the theme here. Fury also need help dealing with the "element beings" from one of his former Shield agent, who specialize in historic knowledge & mastery, of dimensional beings, writings, magic & spells...unknowingly, that Beck is secretly, the greatest sfx guru the world over. So, to protect Peter's identity, Fury recruits "SPIDA-MAN" & Beck(not knowing he is Mysterio). Fury will reach an angrily but desperate crossroads with the situation, because, this Mysterio character seem to always be one-step ahead....until Peter figure it out...hence, via the Stealth Suit.
The audience following the film,

will in essence, be following the mind of Fury. In some ways, this is kinda part of Fury's solo film, inside the makings of FFH...much like Hulk, in Thor:Ragnorak. They(audience/fans) will analyze things in his way, as Fury...and given Fury distrust, it is he, "Fury", that is being taken on psycho-trip

& us along with him....not Peter as "most" will expect, in a Spidey flick. Fury seeing these great feats by Mysterio, will have us to believe, Mysterio is alien in nature....probably a Skrull. The disservice...we will follow along with Fury, in our seats, in visceral hate at Sony/Marvel, for making Beck a Skrull…….only briefly. Neither less, Beck doesn't know Peter; or, that Spiderman is this Peter Parker guy; so, for Beck to perform such a dramatic, personal, devastating deed against Peter, he would have to know who Peter really is. On the other hand however, he knows Nick Fury from his Shield days & personality trait, who is the threat to his motivations...……….just saying.
